21.01.2022 Nikki M Group has partnered with Eitherside Publications to design and typeset the recently released book Fair Delinquents'? Irish Famine Orphans of Colonial Bathurst and Beyond. Written by Leonie Glynn Blair and Dr Perry McIntyre, the book describes the challenges and triumphs of 185 destitute teenaged orphan girls, who emigrated to New South Wales during the potato famine and settled in Bathurst under the Earl Grey immigration scheme 184850. Mayor Bourke, speaking at the... book launch at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre, said 'This new local history study, supported by Council's Heritage Interpretation Fund, really shows the importance of history and heritage to the Bathurst Region.'
