11.01.2022 What better way to end the year than with cats? I'm so glad I came across Maneki Neko Cat Rescue. This year I volunteered to photograph the kitties of Neko HQ so they can look their best in their adoption profiles. Here are some of my favourites! Have a happy and safe new year, hopefully with at least one cat! And always remember to #AdoptDontShop!

04.01.2022 Lauren & Jade When Covid got in the way of their 2020 engagement party plans, Lauren & Jade decided getting married was something they wanted to do much sooner rather than later. 03.01.2022 It's been one year since marriage equality finally became law in Australia. As the results boomed from the speakers outside State Library, I missed the clouds of rainbow powder, the showers of confetti and the initial jumps of joy because I had burst into tears! Thank you to all who stood with us in solidarity, and to those who continue to fight for equality for the LGBTQIA+ community.

03.01.2022 Old customs certainly weren't a feature for Naomi and Belinda's wedding day! With no bride tribe, bouquet, cake or first dance, the couple opted for a simple and sweet fuss-free day for their marriage at STREAT Cromwell. When marriage equality finally passed Australian parliament in 2017, a wedding was the last symbol of commitment Naomi and Belinda could make to each other, having already been together a decade and in that time raising their son. 02.01.2022 Some happy changes for #Melbourne today! Weddings and micro parties can now be held with up to 10 people! Masks are not required while being photographed outdoors by a professional photographer (socially distanced, of course). Things get even better on the 9th of November when the Regional/Metro border lifts which means more weddings at Victoria’s beautiful regional venues! ...
