25.01.2022 Hey everyone, This two weeks at home have gone so bloody fast, i have been so lucky that my AMAZING husband has spent this time with me while i recover. He has looked after me so well, made sure im resting and making sure im fighting fit so i can be back with my darling clients ... In saying that im nearly 100% sure we are over spending every day together, so im back in the salon as of MONDAY I have extremely limited appointments for September and October. My next colour appointment i have available is the 21st and 22nd of September and i have nothing available before then. I also have some amazing new products for the salon and i can not wait to show you all i had to add a cute photo of my amazing husband

20.01.2022 . During the week i was given the massive task of taking this babe back lighter after she had it coloured bright purple. 5 hours later and she is again ... We still have another session to do after Christmas so we can remove more warmth. Then we added a panel of purple under her blonde to add contrast and a pop of colour. ... We didnt even need to apply a toner to this beauties hair as her hair lifted amazingly

15.01.2022 Hey everyone, Just thought i would touch base with you all, my operation last week was a success with no complications . So as of tomorrow i am officially 1 weeks post op ive taken this week to relax and re energise my poor body ... I am taking bookings for when i am back on the 31st of August but please keep in mind that i am nearly fully booked up for the whole of September. I also ask that if you arnt 100% feeling well please re book your appointment as my body will still not be 100% i can not risk getting ill at all. I have some new and exciting things happening in the salon when im back and some amazing new products to show you all. Missing all your beautiful faces

15.01.2022 Afternoon lovey people As we have all been made aware that Perth, Peel and The South West are now in a 5 day lockdown due to a community case of COVID detected in Perth. We are all still so lucky to not be in lockdown in Narrogin, but i do ask that if you have an appointment booked at Nikky’s Hair and you are unwell, or have visited any of the areas identified by the community COVID case, or have visited the metro area within the past few days. I please ask that you notify ...myself and re book your appointment. Hand sanitiser and the COVID tracing will be mandatory when entering the salon. All COVID cleaning procedures will be followed in between each client. Please practice social distancing and i also ask please only yourself attend your appointment ( unless you have a baby or small child). Well guys its official i only have 1 colour appointment left for 2020 4:15pm on the 30th of Dec. I know there is still 4 weeks untill Christmas, so i will have a cancelation list running for clients who couldn’t get in. My January is nearly booked up as-well, so please remember to book in advance. 14.01.2022 R U OK? Talking about mental health is never an easy subject, but with yesterday being R U OK day and i personally think that its something that should be openly discussed with no judgment. I know 2020 has been one hell of a year and that we all have had our struggles, we have all had to deal with things that we have never been faced with before. ... So i am posting this to do a check in and ask you all R U OK?? Because its ok not to be ok, its ok to struggle, its ok to feel down, its ok to have days where you dont want to get out of bed but please know you are all not alone. My salon is a safe place if you want to chat, have a coffee, have a cry please do not hesitate to send a me a message my inbox will always be open I know that in some of my darkest times of my amazing clients have pulled me up and reassured me things will get better. They have listened to me cry, bitch and moan and they have even been there to check in on me when they know that i wasnt in a good place. I will always be there for a shoulder to cry on if anyone needs. We dont have to go threw hard times by our self and please never be ashamed or afraid to ask for help, even it its from your crazy hairdresser. We are all human after all and remember that you are loved, you are strong, you can do whatever you put your mind to and you are not lone ITS OK NOT TO BE OK

13.01.2022 & This beautiful new client came to me with a dilemma. She had previously been getting a global lighten aka bleach on scalp, the colour hadnt been processed for long enough leaving her with a noticeable gold band at her crown. . When i went threw with the consultation i also noticed there was a large amount of breakage at her crown where bleach had over lapped ( the down side of global lightening). This appointment we wanted to achieve our desired... colour WITHOUT damaging her hair any further. . . We decided to go threw with scattered baby-lights and face framing foils to try blend in that harsh line and create more of a natural appearance. I then went threw with a root melt to soften the re-growth line and toned at the basin with a creamy beige. . My client wanted to tone down the blonde and blend in that regrowth line, this will allow her to get a longer last out of her colour and make sure that she wont have a harsh regrowth line. We both understand that we still have a little more work to do so we can 100% get rid of that gold band without compromising her hair. swipe to see the before photo

I also have had a few enquiries about Saturday appointments, i sadly dont have any Saturday’s available until January 2021. My next available late night appointment is the 16th of November, i also have a very small hand full of late nights left before Christmas. My week of Christmas is nearly fully booked out and so is the week before Christmas. If you are wanting a Saturday appointment please make sure you let me know so i can put you on the weekend cancelation list. 10.01.2022 I thought i would jump on here and have a little chat about colour corrections,i have been swamped with clients wanting me to fix their hair. 1 because they have done it them self or 2 because they arnt happy with how another salon has done their colour. If the case is that you arnt happy with your colour done at another salon i 100% recommend contacting that stylist and expressing your concerns, then allowing them to rectify it before yo...u seek out another salon to fix it. I am a very strong believer in every stylist should be given the chance or opportunity to fix their work. In saying that i wanted to just throw a few things out there and explain how long they take, costings and what i have to put into it to get you close to where you want to be. Colour corrections are a time consuming job, so sometimes i can spend anywhere from 4-7 hours on one client. The time allocated means that i am required to book my whole day out dedicated to that client. Prices for colour corrections are never the same and may differ. Sometimes you can be looking at upwards of $600 depending on time and how much product is used ect. Some clients need more than one session, some clients only need the one colour application ect. I strongly advise when having a consult with a stylist to , always ask what price range you are looking at and prepare yourself. .... i can not express this enough chat to your stylist about where they think you may be able to get to colour wise. Always be honest about past colour history and product usage. Being honest will help us understand your hair more and will allow us to go threw with the right products and will allow us to keep your hair in a condition. 09.01.2022 A beautiful blonde re-fresh for this babe During our consultation we realised that her previous colour was way to gold and to block. We both decided to go threw with some face framing foils to add that pop of brightness, then go threw with a root melt and tone all that gold out of the ends. ... This will allow my clients hair to grow out more naturally and also allow her to get a longer last out of her colour. Her integrity of her hair was slightly compromised from her previous colour so i decided less lightener is the best option. I am 100% for keeping that hair healthy and luscious to see before photo ( previous colour was not done by me)
