22.01.2022 In light of recent developments regarding COVID-19, we wanted to keep you in the loop about how we'll be operating moving forward. We'll be working our socks off as usual, but have put changes in place to limit face-to-face interactions for the safety of our clients and staff. This means that appointments will be replaced with over-the-phone or video conferences wherever possible. We appreciate your patience as our staff gears up to transition to work remotely, if they wish t...o. Here at Nikolovski Lawyers, the safety of our clients and staff are always paramount. Stay safe and healthy during these trying times. We will be with you all the way!

21.01.2022 It has been a big year for Nikolovski Lawyers! Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our staff have worked tirelessly in support of our local community - from essential workers on the frontlines, to those facing the uncertainty of job losses and layoffs. As a result, we have decided to close the office for a couple of weeks this year to give everyone a chance to refresh. Our staff have done an admirable job, and it is the least they deserve.... The office will be closed from 5pm on Friday the 18th of December, and will reopen at 9am on Monday the 4th of January. We'll be sure to have lawyers on standby to address any urgent matters. Otherwise, we'll see you in the New Year! Wishing everybody a safe and happy holidays, Nikolovski Lawyers

15.01.2022 Five delivery riders have died on Australian roads in just the past three months; a tragic reminder of how perilous their work can be. No matter whether you're on your bike or at your desk, every worker deserves to make it home to their family at the end of the day, and every worker deserves to be justly compensated if that doesn't happen. https://www.smh.com.au//food-delivery-levy-proposed-to-pay

15.01.2022 We hope everyone enjoyed a laid-back, feet-up long weekend...unless of course you're our ironwoman Jeanette, who only went ahead and won her age bracket at the Australia Day Aquathon JAN 26 in Wollongong!

10.01.2022 'Uber will reclassify all 70,000 of its U.K. drivers as workers, entitling them to the minimum wage, vacation pay and other benefits after a landmark ruling from the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom last month.' Overnight, Uber drivers were finally granted full working rights in the UK. Should Australia look toward doing the same? https://www.bloomberg.com//uber-to-reclassify-70-000-u-k-d

09.01.2022 We've had something cooking here at Nikolovski Lawyers these past few months. We can't wait to show you how one call can make all the difference...

09.01.2022 Volunteer or employee, we believe every Australian worker should have the right to make it home to their family at the end of each day. Should the families of these heroic Australian volunteer firefighters have the same right to compensation as their paid counterparts?

06.01.2022 'The Victorian Government says about "70 to 80 per cent" of healthcare workers infected with COVID-19 during the state's second wave of infections caught it at work.' Every workplace has its dangers - particularly amidst a global pandemic - but few are as perilous as our hospitals, medical centres and clinics. How can we better protect our healthcare workers from illness and injury? https://www.abc.net.au//health-workers-covid-coro/12582468

05.01.2022 Daniel Love and Brendan Thoms are both Aboriginal men who grew up in Australia. However, both being born abroad, they had never formally become Australian citizens. Thus, when each was charged with a criminal conviction, they were eligible for deportation... 01.01.2022 With wait times of up to two years for Australian partner visas, it can be a long and lonely wait for our country's long-distance lovebirds - especially in the locked-down age of COVID-19. At Nikolovski Lawyers, our job is to ensure that no couple goes through this process alone. https://www.abc.net.au//visa-backlog-keeping-coup/12539312
