20.01.2022 Hi Nilma Family Happy to send you the absolutely brilliant video of our wonderful school community! We will endeavour to walk for the first 4 weeks of Term 4 to achieve the most active school in Baw Baw Shire! We have invited our Baw Baw Family to share the walk to school journey so we can not only believe in ourselves but support our Baw Baw community! As you have heard me say on numerous occasions! It takes a community to raise a child! We are in the journey together!
19.01.2022 Year 5/6 students participated in the Cows Create Careers project. Students entered the Maxcare Design an Advertisement Competition. Nilma’s got selected as one of four finalists from across Australia. The overall winner is decided by a public vote. If our students are to have a chance, this we will need to mobilise as many members of our community as possible to vote for their entry. So share this far and wide. You can vote by clicking on the picture below and commenting’ One vote for the CCC challenge’
19.01.2022 Food Handling Course for parents FREE Last night at school council - we discussed food handling certificates. A parent directed us to the Do Food Safely certificate endorsed by the Health Department... Here is the link http:/dofoodsafely.health.vic.gov.au/index.php/en/ I would encourage parents to complete and provide the school with a copy of certificate!

15.01.2022 Hi everyone If you shop at Woolies and collect the new plants and don’t feel you want to grow yourself, Nilma Primary school would be happy if you donated to us! Although we would really like you to try to grow the herbs and plants and if you really want to have a go and need a little community support to do so! Maybe our fantastic students and family community can help!

Or do you know of anyone that may be able to video for us? Thanks in advance Regards... Annette Sutherland See more
06.01.2022 New DET changes! ADDITIONAL PUPIL-FREE DAYS Teachers and schools are working hard to prepare for the possibility that we will need to move at some stage to more flexible learning arrangements, including remote learning. The Minister for Education today approved an additional two pupil-free days. The first will be on the last day of this term Friday next week and the second will be on the first day of Term 2 after the coming school holidays. This will provide an important opportunity for schools to consolidate their preparations. Have a great weekend and we will give you more information on Monday!
