15.01.2022 A Poem inspired by recent events in Australia. #Narratives4Change #PromisingYoungWoman

13.01.2022 Friends! I made the shortlist for the Australian Photography Magazine’s November comp with the them 'Together'. I need some votes to be in the running for People’s Choice. If my image of me and Steven interacting with our masks on, speaks to you, I would appreciate a vote. A LIKE is all that is needed here. Thanks in advance. https://www.facebook.com/australianphotographymag/posts/3575280412563366

12.01.2022 Thank you to those of you who have followed my photography journey during these past few years. You may enjoy this Reflection of 2020 that I have compiled from our experiences during the past year. https://spark.adobe.com/page/acWM9CN5ZotaG/

08.01.2022 Connect. Collaborate. Celebrate. I love that my image #PandemicGardening is a finalist in the Hornsby Councl exhibition for Social Inclusion week. It is a time when we stop to create an environment 'inclusive of all cultures, age groups, nationalities and abilities'. The week was the vision of Dr Welch, who founded the Choir of Hard Knock. My local council is celebrating and making a statement with an online exhibition. I have 3 other images in the exhibition which will be online from the 19th November 2nd December at https://www.hornsby.nsw.gov.au//even/Social-Inclusion-Week

05.01.2022 Good afternoon friends! I have given my creative website Narratives4Change a facelift using the website builder provided with my Creative Cloud subscription. I am keen to ultimately become a professional documentary photographer, working with you to inspire social change through photography and story-telling. I can document your events, ideas and campaigns as a blog post, a series of images or an impactful web page. My clients have ranged from local and state government to community groups and non-profit organisations. Please share this if you have an audience that might be interested and let me know what you think about the website! https://narratives4change.com.au

05.01.2022 Preparing for a changing climate and local resilience is an important part of what we do in life and work. Here’s a story based on progress so far and the joys of Pandemic Gardening.

04.01.2022 I’m sure you watched or heard about the Oprah interview. Here is my reflection on it.

03.01.2022 I’m really keen to integrate my writing and photography so I was just a little excited to see my piece featured in this month’s Australian Photography Society (APS) e-news. Unfortunately, the link to the mag does not work, I think because it is just meant for members...or perhaps a FB glitch. So, here are the pages from my article. I’m hoping that through little bits of exposure like this, I can make the transition to become a recognised documentary photographer. If you are interested in growing your photography, check out the Australian Photography Society website and consider joining them. https://www.a-p-s.org.au Normality is a paved road: It’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it. ~ Van Gogh

03.01.2022 Finally picked up the February Issue of the Australian Photography Magazine. It’s always a little bit exciting to see an image published. This one got a Highly Commended in the ‘Your Best Shot’ competition.
