21.01.2022 Things have been so incredibly busy lately while I settle into my new jobs and into the groove of working 6 days a week. Its been quite the adjustment and I’ve noticed that my one rest day then tends to consist of either running errands or spending some very overdue time with Luke. During this adjustment it’s been a real struggle to pick up any form of craft as any time I have spare I find myself totally crashing or catching up on house work. With that said, I’m definitel...y missing my daily crafting and have decided that in the next few weeks I need to learn to juggle my new busy work schedule with some crafty downtime so I’m not forgetting to nurture my creativity. So considering my lack of productivity, I’ve chosen to throw it back to an all time favourite, the #playalldayvest by Little Golden Nook See more

20.01.2022 Always working on something new!

15.01.2022 Slowly rediscovering my crojo as life starts to settle back in to some sort of a routine. I decided that it would be best to start on something chunky, easy and mindless. This Bernat Blanket Yarn is the perfect thickness for an easy moss stitch throw on this lazy public holiday.

12.01.2022 A simple beanie in the making on this gloomy Sydney day.

12.01.2022 A sweet little present for a dear friend and mother to be. This little set is one of my all time favourite makes and was such a pleasure to create. I used a new technique, holding a merino and mohair double strand to create a super thick and fluffy fabric for the adorable slouch pants and wrap jacket patterns by Mon Petit Violon ... 12.01.2022 I’ve been a little quiet lately while I’ve been focusing on some changes in my career outside of Nimala Studio. But now that things have started to fall into place I’m back and am excited to continue making! Can you guess what this yarn haul might be for? Hint: it’s for one item but I couldn’t decided on colour so will be making two to satisfy my colour cravings!

09.01.2022 Finishing off the final sleeve for the #berrydippedraglan test for @littlegoldennook It’s hard to beat an afternoon spent crocheting in the sun

09.01.2022 It’s been just shy of 5 months since I’ve completed a project and although the break from making felt super weird and sad, it was necessary. I started a new job back in August 2019 and was flat stick managing two jobs and then receiving two promotions that consumed my time while learning the new roles. Things have now started to settle back into a groove and I’ve started finding my routine again. So today I sat down and decided to finally make the Christmas gifts that I h...ad planned for my nieces that never got around to. I picked up these moon looms from The Unusual Pear quite a while ago and am so happy to finally see them all woven up. I’m hoping this creative afternoon reignites my fibre flame and I can fit making back in to my daily routine. See more

08.01.2022 As expected size 2 is still a little large for your cute itty bitty head, isn’t it Olivia?

07.01.2022 Here are the long awaited images of my #berrydippedraglan test for Little Golden Nook that took place last year. I made the size Large and decided to create mine in a cropped version! It sits perfectly on the waist making it super versatile with jeans, skirts and dresses! Bring on the cold weather so I can wear this baby outdoors!

01.01.2022 I’m so happy with these two very sweet little cardigans for my nieces that I recently finished. The pattern is the Fair Isle Style Cardigan using Scheepjes Stone Washed XL yarn from Skein Sisters - sizes 2-4 years and 12-24 months.
