20.01.2022 Caribé’s Havana Return, next Tuesday the 17th at the Underground. Doors open from 7:30pm, we'll see you there! Caribé’s Havana Return crafts Cuban traditional and classic forms in a contemporary mold resulting in music that is unique and fresh. Seeing Caribé live is a communal experience incorporating chants and percussive elements deeply rooted in rumba and Afro-Cuban religions. The constant push and pull between powerful percussion and stunning melodies creates a dynamic tension that draws you in and invites you to dance!

08.01.2022 RIP Wallace Roney: May 25, 1960 March 31, 2020 Wallace Roney, a virtuoso trumpeter whose term as Miles Davis’s only true protégé opened onto a prominent career in jazz, died on Tuesday in Paterson, N.J. from complications arising from Covid-19. He was 59. In the light of current developments NIMA has taken the precautionary decision to suspend all concerts until further notice effective immediately. Our primary concern is the safety of our performers, volunteers, members and patrons....
