23.01.2022 We get it: you like to know where your food comes from and exactly what’s gone into it. Us too. That’s what you get when you buy Nimbin Hemp Fed Wagyu. Our cows are raised on a wholesome diet of grass, sprouted barley, hay, select mineral pellets and hemp, which ensures they get plenty of protein and all the nutrients they need. Unlike many other Wagyu Beef farmers, we refuse to confine our animals to fatten them up. Instead, we let our cattle roam free (or as we like to say,... they’re 'free grazed') in the lush green pastures of our Nimbin Hemp Fed Farm. We also add some goodies in the paddock for our 'happy cows' to munch on as they please. These goodies include our hydroponically grown sprouted barley which is chopped up and mixed with locally grown hay. We also add in a little diluted molasses to sweeten the mix!
