23.01.2022 We currently have 4x4 round and 8x4x3 large square bales of pasture hay surplus to our storage capabilities so are looking to move on what we can't fit in our shed. We have both dry land pasture and irrigated pasture available, primarily Rhodes bambatsi and native grasses with up to 10% medic or burgundy bean. 23.01.2022 Dorper lambing #2. 21 new lambs within the last week.

17.01.2022 We currently have 2 road train loads of irrigated pasture hay available in large 8x4x3 bales. Primarily Rhodes grass but does have up to 20% bambatsi and possibly medics. For orders of over 30 bales we are selling them for $300 + gst per tonne ex farm if ordered before the 10th of August. We also have some grassy millet, price available on request. 05.01.2022 We have small square bales of irrigated pasture hay available primarily Rhodes but may have up 10% bambatsi and medic. $13.20 each until the end of June. 05.01.2022 Here at Nine Mile we cross plant our irrigated reclaimer Rhodes grass and bambatsi hay crops with medics. Here is a stand of reclaimer Rhodes that has been cross planted with bindaroo button medic. Being a legume the medic gives our soils a boost of nitrogen and also gives our 1st hay harvest in spring a higher percentage of protein. Bindaroo medic also drops a good amount of seed which will lay dormant during the warmer months before germination again in mid autumn for the next season.

04.01.2022 Pasture hay in large squares for sale. This hay is primarily rhodes and native button grass and has had 15mm of rain while curing so is not suitable for horses. Fine for cattle and sheep. Weighing about 500-600kgs per bale. $132 each including gst or $121each for orders of over 30 bales. Email [email protected] for enquiries delivery available for larger orders at an extra cost.
