22.01.2022 Nine Mile Creek are announcing our retirement! It remains to be seen at this point whether this will be a John Farnham style retirement (short-lived) or an R.E.M. one (lasting, and totally amicable). We're giving plenty of notice, we still have a few festivals and gigs lined up for the rest of the year, so keep an eye on the FB page for info. We really appreciate all the amazing support we've had over the last 7 years, and we hope to have plenty of opportunities to say so in person over the coming months, so come and say hi when you see us next.

20.01.2022 Well, we’re in the home stretch with just a few more gigs to go. Tuesday Jan 28th - Australian farewell show as the feature act at Mountain Pickers Association club night. On Thursday the 30th we’re off to New Zealand for Kiwigrass 2020. We have a show on the Friday night, and we’re hosting a slow jam session on Saturday morning. Then on Sunday afternoon, expect an emotional session as we play our final set before retirement!... Feb 8th - Special one off reunion show as part of Mountain Pickers Association bushfire relief concert, along with The Stetson Family, Green Fieldz and The Moonee Valley Drifters. This will be a special night, with some great acts, as well a chance to catch us play together for the first time in nearly a week! Most importantly, it's a great opportunity to help some people who have helped members of the Mountain Pickers family in recent weeks. All up, an exiting few weeks ahead!

17.01.2022 Many thanks to Peter Hisco and all the volunteers who made the Kelly Country Pick 16th-18th August 2019 such a great weekend. We had a ball as we always do!

17.01.2022 We’ve had an amazing last couple of weeks, playing a show for our home audience at Mountain Pickers Association, a wonderful weekend at Kiwigrass, and helping raise some money for the Mountain Pickers Fire Benefit. We couldn’t have asked for a better final run of gigs. Now that we’re on the other end of it, we want to say a few thank yous for the last (nearly) 8 years. First of all, our partners, families and friends for all their support over that time, we couldn’t have don...e it without you. To previous members of the band who were a big part of the journey, Dave Diprose, Kevin Parsell, and Tanya Bradley. To the Mountain Pickers Association, instrumental in the birth and growth of the band, giving us a stage to try things out on, along with a very supportive and appreciative audience. To all the festival organisers who let us come and play, where we’ve had some unforgettable experiences. To Jan Dale of Southern Style on PBS 106.7FM Melbourne, who always supported the band, played tracks from the CD, let us come in and play, and has just generally been nice to us. To the other musicians we’ve met along the way, who we’ve learnt so much from. An amazingly supportive community.
