24.01.2022 Who knew fishing for was so much fun Hours of entertainment, no joke it’s held her attention for such a long time and still giggles so hard every single time.... My Mum & Dad sent Belle a little care package and this has been the best game ever.... she has laughed for hours and hours.. 21.01.2022 GOODBYE Robot Arm The last 9 weeks have been really difficult, I’m not going to lie. To have your independence taken away has been a big challenge for me and I’ll admit I did struggle a lot.. All those day to day things I really took for granted and really has given me a lot of perspective on what is important to me. I have always been able to laugh things off and see the bright side but this really did get me down and I tried not to show that a lot but really it’s the mos...t down I think I’ve been in my whole life. BUT yesterday... I got the all clear to remove the robot arm! Drive... and start to get my independence back, right when the second Melbourne stage 4 restrictions got put into place. In all honestly I couldn’t care because I am beyond thrilled to feel normal again and having the highlight of my week is being able to drive to the supermarket alone and shop.... WOW, how times have changed.... I am starting the next part which is 6/8 weeks of rehab to strength back up my arm and hoping for a recovery! I still have a 30% chance I could dislocate in the first year but really hoping I can do everything I can of minimise that! THANK YOU ... to every single person who has reached out to send well wishes and checked in on me, my incredible family and friends who have dropped off a meal, driven my sad ass around, helped with Belle and lastly my incredible husband who has gone above and beyond to look after me..
