24.01.2022 After a cancellation from clients yesterday and the weather looking fantastic, I still very keen to get out on the water, so a quick call to my mate Liam Hall to see if he was keen to come for a run and have a bit of an explore and a play with the new Halco 105 Slidog’s, and it was back on. A very enjoyable day on the water, calm sea’s and plenty of obliging fish. 22.01.2022 Fun day out in the Gulf with father and son, Nigel and Tom, the weather was glamour and the fish very obliging. We fished a variety of different ways today from casting stickbaits and poppers to dropping lightly weighted baits and caught a huge array of species, unfortunately I didn’t take a lot of pics, but the species list was something along these lines from what I can remember- Mack Tuna, Spanish and school Mackerel, Coral Trout, various Cod, Spangled and Bluelined Empero...r, Bluebone, Mangrove Jacks, Golden, Brassy and Tille Trevally and Im sure there’s plenty of others I’ve forgotten. 21.01.2022 Back down Exmouth Gulf today this time joined by Craig, Luke and Tim. The gulf was alive with fish and marine life today, in the glassed off conditions every where you looked there was something going on, Humpback whales, Dolphins, Turtles , Sharks, Rays and no shortage of fish, unfortunately what we saw and what we caught where to very different things, the fish just didn’t want to play the game, we persevered and managed to convince a few fish to come onboard for a quick pic but the majority just weren’t interested. I hope I’m there when they decide to eat

20.01.2022 Another awesome day in Exmouth Gulf and once again joined by Craig, Luke and Tim. The morning was a little on the quiet side, a few opportunities but unfortunately we couldn’t convince anything to come onboard for a quick pic, the afternoon certainly made up for a slow morning and the fish turned it on. We had a blast casting to a variety of fish in shallow water and glassed out conditions., very enjoyable fishing Halco Slidog 125’s and 105’s once again proving their worth and getting the nibbles.

19.01.2022 Today I was joined by Oscar for a days Sportfishing in Exmouth Gulf. It started out a tough day with plenty of good fish sighted but very few willing to play the game, but things changed lunchtime’ish and as we got hungry so did the fish. 18.01.2022 Another awesome day in Exmouth Gulf. Today I was joined by Daniel and Tiarnie, it was their first time fishing Exmouth Gulf and it certainly turned it on for them. The weather was fantastic and there was certainly no shortage of fish. We caught lots, lost our fair share, seen some pretty cool sights, all in all it was a very enjoyable day. 18.01.2022 Great day out in the gulf yesterday with Gwendoline and her husband Peter. The day was spent shallow water reef fishing as they had asked for a Coral Trout for dinner. I think we caught 9 Trout in the end with the biggest going to Gwendoline at 78cm. 18.01.2022 Enjoyable day shallow water reef fishing in Exmouth gulf with Max, Mick and Russell (son, dad & grandad), these guys are from Victoria and travelling around W.A. for 6 months, and were keen on getting out on the water for the day and hopefully catch a fish or two, the fish and the weather were very obliging. 16.01.2022 Exmouth gulf turned it on today, amazing weather and plenty of obliging fish. My crew for the day, Blake and Alexis are camping down at Giralia station so it was a solo launch this morning for me. Thankfully conditions where fantastic and apart from having to dodge a few whales it didn’t take long and I was in the creek and picked them up right next to their camp. I was joined by Sean Higgins for the day and the plan was to hopefully find a Spanish Mackerel and a Coral Trout and what ever else we could find willing to play. Fun day today in Exmouth Gulf with Dan and Steve onboard, plenty of action and calm seas. We saw some very cool stuff , from Sailfish in shallow water to jumping off the biggest Giant Herring I’ve ever seen, we caught some good fish and lost plenty of others. 03.01.2022 A little bit late on this post, as I need a few days of drinking to get over a week on a boat with these guys The week with Graham master classFraser, Matt Sontaran Jobe and Ali Gypsy Dog Downie has come to an end. The last day didn’t go as planned as the fish just didn’t want to play, we ticked away and caught a few small fish but it was far from the epic last day we were hoping for. 02.01.2022 Fun day out on the water with Neil and his parter Dawi. Neil was super keen on trying to catch his first GT today, so we had big plans for the day but the weather man kinda got it wrong and made life hard......again. Plan B was called into effect early on, Neil still managed to catch his first GT, not the monster we were hoping for, although we did hook a proper one and some how the hooks fell out after a short tussle, Neil was stoked and mission accomplished.
