A big thank you to Sue the trainer for giving so much of her time. The money collected was donated to Maurice, wildlife carer in Yarloop.

20.01.2022 3 Pomeranian X Japanese Spitz 8 week old puppies came in for their first vaccinations and worming, ready to go to new homes. It's very important to desensitize your puppy to being handled around their feet and mouth, to reduce anxiety when they need nail clipping or teeth hygiene later on in life.

17.01.2022 My name is Jingle and I'm an 10 yr old Whippet, I just had my operation to fix my anal gland abcess. I now have the cone of shame for the next 2 weeks. If your dog shows symptoms of licking and dragging the bottom along the ground this can most likely be a sign of full or blocked anal glands or can be worms. Treatment involves an anal gland check and worming with your local vet to ensure they turn into an abcess.

12.01.2022 Our puppy school should start soon. Today we are very busy preparing these 14 labrador, 6 weeks old, puppies ready to go to their new home. By having a vet health check up, vaccinations, microchiping, worming and flea treatment.

And also to remind that Spring is here and also the grass seeds,pollens,etc.Please have your animal well groomed and clipped to prevent grass seed infestations esp on their feet. We also check the ears, teeth and the anal glands when we groom them.You can contact us to discuss about grooming and the strategies to combat allergies and itchy dogs and cats.!!!

07.01.2022 Due to parvo outbreak in Harvey town site area, this owner made sure the litter of Pomeranian x Spitz puppies had their vaccination at 6 weeks old. We would like to advise you that all dogs should have a yearly booster against Parvo instead of every 3 years.

05.01.2022 These are five miniature Dachshund pups, seven weeks old, which just received their first vaccination, their microchip and their third worm treatment and are ready to go to their new homes. These pups came to the clinic every two weeks to make sure they received the right dose of worm treatment. It is important to worm pups at two, four and six weeks. They can be infected with round worms while in the uterus or via their mother's milk. The larva stages of round worms migrate from the guts through the body and can end up in the wrong places such as the brains and cause convulsions. Lately we saw some cases of larva migration in pups.

03.01.2022 Here are some pictures from our first lesson of Puppy school on last Saturday ,first of February.There are 13 pups.First lesson is focussing on socializing, walking on the lead,recalling and walking on different surfaces by going up on the ramps !!!!Everyone is doing very well

03.01.2022 Thank you Tamara for volunteering your time with Mr Booza and Mr Barkclee at our Doggy Daycare and Boarding. Mr Booza is boarding due to his owner going into hospital to have a baby and Mr Barkclee is at daycare whilst his mum goes back to work instead of retirement because of COVID-19. These 2 have now developed a strong friendship.
