01.01.2022 Please Help Reach Funding Goal to help a Village Community in Nepal ------------------------------------------------------------------ Last year, at the 1st Glo...bal Nepali Health Conference, we commsionned Ms. Sriya Gajurel the 'Youth Health Ambassador of Health Committee of NRNA' and commissioned her to promote ways and means to maintain and promote health among Nepali youth in the Americas, globally and Nepal. The winner of Miss Nepal North America and a profound health advocate, Ms Gajurel was the master of ceremony of the global health conference. Following on the model of United Nations, UNICEF and similar agency, who often award celebrity the ambassadorship status with a hope of raising awareness for the cause, we have similar hope: raising health behavior among young people. Celebrities have a huge role in advocating for health. People listen to them eagerly and are likely to be convinced listening to them. She has not only lived up to the task but has gone beyond. Being involved in campaigns and events to empower youth, raise awareness on suicide prevention and other causes, she has made several meaningful impact on youth empowerment and health. Other youth health leaders of equal potential who collaborated together at the global health conference include Binod Ruwali, Abhiyan Bista, Sanju Koirala. Currently in Nepal, in collaboration with Health Committee of NRNA, NMSS, NIRHAT, Ms. Gajurel is raising funds to help a village in rural Nepal where people still lack complete knowledge on the pandemic. Dr. Shakti Chaurasiya, Dr. Kush Shrestha and the NIRHAT Health Committee team are assisting in the health assessment of the village community for the targeted audience and outcome. Below is the go-fundme link where you could consider donating for the cause she is spearheading. Please give utmost considerations to contribute and to forward to other. https://www.picuki.com/media/2145839848975933584 https://www.gofundme.com/f/covid19-relief-coming-together-f
