12.01.2022 Knowledge update: BLACK CARDAMOM This spice is used in Indian food to enhance flavor. Please note, if found in your curry, remove it as it is for flavor only.... The Indian name for Black Cardamom is Badi Elaichi or Kali Elaichi. Roughly 2.5 to 3 cm in length, Badi Elaichi pods are dark brown to black in color and have a tough, dried, wrinkly skin. They are highly aromatic but not as much as Green Caradmom. Black Cardamom is dried over a smoke fire and therefore has a distinct smokey aroma. The seeds have sweetish, smokey flavor when bitten into. CHEERS.

10.01.2022 KNOWLEDGE UPDATE: Cinnamon sticks - is the dried bark of various laurel trees . It is a sweet-tasting spice, with a warm, woody aroma. The smell of Cinnamon is pleasant, stimulates the senses, yet calms the nerves. When ground, the flavor becomes stronger. Whole cinnamon is used for spacing hot drinks, ground - in cakes, sweet dishes, fruit pies (especially apples). It can also be used in more piquant dishes, such as curries. If you find it in your curry pack, don't eat it, just remove it:-) cheers.
