07.01.2022 quilling sideshow

05.01.2022 I started studying full-time in February so you haven’t heard from me for a while. I was asked to teach a craft honour for my local church Pathfinder Club. (For those of you who are not aware of Pathfinders it is our church based youth group like scouting.) I suggested to teach the quilling Honour and all of the group including the boys decided they wanted to do it. The photos I have attached are the samples that I have made showing simple floral arrangements. This is one requirement for the honour, and the samples were made to give the children ideas.

05.01.2022 I have recently been busy volunteering for various different charities. So I haven't posted here in quite some time. I last month volunteered to do some work for the Salvation Army with their Christmas program. When I was asked to help pack hampers for the disadvantaged in my local district I volunteered to make handmade Christmas cards to include. Unbeknowned to me when I made this offer, they were packing well over 100 hampers. So I have been busy making handmade Christmas... cards to donate. You can see in this album just some of the cards that I made, with every single one very different. None of these were particularly difficult to make, but some were extremely easy. I used some particular card making/paper crafting techniques such as stamping and die cutting, but most of the cards used more simpler techniques using such things I have in my crafting stash such as stickers, scrapbooking paper, and bits from a large kids craft kit I purchased several years ago.
