01.01.2022 Aboriginal Educator Workers bring and share knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal people, community and culture. This is where the magic happens - kids ligh...t up when they see, hear and feel the presence of Aboriginal people in their school environments. Learners, school leadership and teachers enjoy having Aboriginal Educators as members of the school team. Applications for AEW funding for 2021 are now open. A panel assesses applications on a merit system and subject to available funds. Schools can find more information on the position in the Aboriginal Education Worker Handbook under ‘Aboriginal Educators’ on the Aboriginal Education Services webpage. The online application form is on the same site. Applications open on 14 September 2020 and close on 20 October 2020. For more information, please contact Aboriginal Education Services on 6165 5478 or [email protected].
