21.01.2022 Hi all, Here is the final design I came up with for my Roman Soldier Pendant. Yes I did make these guitar picks however when testing them out they were horrible and didn't work. In saying this I would have to agree that this would just be a pendant and shouldn't be considered a guitar pick at all as there is no reason for it. When looking at this design I believe there are no issues with it, and I really like the way this design looks. Like I said in the past, this is one of ...my favourite designs I have come up with so far, as I loved the way my Roman Soldier Ring turned out looking when made. Before selling this I would have to first get this manufactured to take product pictures and test if it works. __________ Let me know in the comments what you think of this design. 20.01.2022 Hi all, Who doesn't want a guitar pick they can wear around their neck as both a form of fashion, and a convenient way of ensuring you always have a guitar pick on hand wherever you are at any moment. Well that is why I have decided to design a version of my NiTride Juggernaut (Mini) guitar pick to be a wearable pendant. Shown in this post is the final design I came up with for my NiTride Juggernaut (Mini) guitar pick pendant. I designed the part of the pendant where the chai...n/rope goes through in an interesting way, and had it positioned inside the gap I have in the pick design. Before selling this I would need to first get this manufactured and tested to ensure this design actually works, and make sure that when you place the chain/rope through the hole it clears without touching or getting affected by the pick when worn. __________ Let me know in the comments what you think of this design, and whether you think this design will work when made and tested out. 14.01.2022 Hi all, Here is a basic plan I created for a manipulator arm for a small drone. Due to me being heavily focused on starting my own small business designing up products, I kind of neglected my uni work to the point where I didn't do any work on my final year project, leaving me with only one week to do so. I don't know how but I managed to do an entire semester's worth of work in just one week, and ended up getting a distinction as my final mark. I will admit I did put "a lo...t" of work into it in just one week and it felt like hell doing so. This was only half the time we got on the project as I will be completing the rest of this project next semester coming up. Here is a small summary of what I am working on for my final year project. What I chose to do for my final year project was the following. "Design of a manually controlled, compact, lightweight manipulator with high strength, adaptable reach, and sensing for small UAV’s." What I have completed so far in this project is the selection of material to use for the arms frame, the basic design of the arms frame, and an idea of how it would work. The material to use for the arm was selected by looking for a material that had a low density (lightweight), high yielding strength (high strength at resisting permanent deformation under stress), and a low cost. For the design of the arms frame, a lot was considered. To begin, I designed the arms frame to be both highly compact (to allow the drone to have high stability when transporting objects), and have far-reaching capabilities to allow it to reach objects that are far away. I did this through designing the arm to be capable of compacting itself, and then designing it to be able to extend itself out by over 1000% of its compact length, through the use of both revolute and prismatic joints as shown in the post. What I then did in the design was remove material from the arms structure to improve the design by lowering the mass of the arm, lowering the cost/material usage, all whilst ensuring the strength of the structure remained. Let me know in the comments if you would like to see more progress on my final year project in the future. See more

12.01.2022 Hi all, Here is the final design I came up with for my Boeotian Soldier Pendant. I did make these into guitar picks however when testing them out they were horrible and didn't work. In saying this I would have to agree that this would just be a pendant and shouldn't be considered a guitar pick at all as there is no reason for it. When looking at this design I believe there are no issues with it, and I quite like the design. Although this is true, I feel as though the spear in... the design may be an issue as both the spear head and the other end of the spear are quite sharp, (like the Spartan Soldier Pendant). The spear on this design tends to be a lot larger than the Spartan Soldier Pendant's and looks like it may also get stuck on clothing a lot and perhaps rip into it, which could be a big issue. Before selling this I would have to first get this manufactured and tested to ensure that the spear doesn't cause harm to the wearer in any way, ensure it is comfortable to wear, and doesn't get stuck on clothing. __________ Let me know in the comments what you think of this design, and whether you think the spear in this design will be an issue. 10.01.2022 Hi all, I would like to apologise to everyone for my lack of 3D modelling/design work lately. I have been heavily focused on trying to get my website complete and up and running, and have been struggling to build something I am happy with and proud of. I believe this website is a priority as it will greatly aid customers through the information it will provide, and help customers understand more about what products I make and sell, and what services I offer. This site will al...so greatly improve the user experience through all the features it will hold. To begin, I plan for this site to provide all customers with all the needed information on every product, including a product's dimensions, and also in depth information on every material the product can be manufactured in. This in depth information on the materials will include all the materials properties, how products are manufactured in that material, and also other details about the material. Also on this site, customers will be able to look at "digital renders" of products made in a certain material allowing them to have an idea of what that product would look like when manufactured in that material. Alongside this, customers will also be able to have a look at an interactable 3D model of a product to be able to see what that product looks like from every angle, and see every dimensional detail of that product. I also plan on providing on this site a page for customers to request and submit a custom order, being a completely new product idea they come up with. I would then go ahead and try and 3D model up and bring to life this product idea for them letting them be in charge of how it turns out looking in the end. I also plan on including a "customise order" button on every product page to allow people to submit what customisations they would like to make to the product they are ordering. Once again I greatly apologise to everyone for how long I am taking to complete this site, and apologise for temporarily stopping my design work for now. Hope everyone understands my issues and what I am trying to complete. Let me know in the comments below what you think of the above plans?

06.01.2022 Hi all, Here is the final design I came up with for my NiTride Shuriken Pendant. Yes I did make these guitar picks however when testing them out they were horrible and didn't work. In saying this I would have to agree that this would just be a pendant and shouldn't be considered a guitar pick at all as there is no reason for it. When looking at this design I believe there are no issues with it, and quite like it. 03.01.2022 Hi all, Who wouldn't want a guitar pick they can wear around their neck as both a form of fashion, and a convenient way of ensuring you always have a guitar pick on hand wherever you are at any moment. Well that is why I have decided to design a version of my NiTride Katana (Without Ribbon) guitar pick to be a wearable pendant. When looking at this design, a few potential issues can be seen. To begin, the handle end of the pendant tends to look quite long, and may have a weir...d look to it since the hole for the chain is placed on the end of the handle extending its length. The hole for the chain is also placed perpendicular to the swords handle, and due to the swords angle, may cause the pendant to sit in an odd way. Another potential issue is the thickness of the pick design, due to it being a thin and fragile detail in the design. When manufacturing in the steel material, the material goes through a brittle like stage before it is hardened, and the structure of the products must be strong to be able to survive this stage in the manufacturing process. Another issue with this design is the sharp edges designed on the Katanas guard. This guard was designed to be the NiTride logo and therefore has the following sharp edges to it. Another sharp edge in this design is the end of the guitar pick. Both these issues could cause harm/ discomfort to the wearer, or perhaps tear into or get stuck on clothing. Before I sell this I must first get it manufactured and tested for all these issues. __________ Let me know in the comments what you think of this design, and whether you think it will work.
