24.01.2022 From NitsEnd to everyone starting back at school today we hope you have a lovely first day

20.01.2022 After hatching (6-7 days after being laid) it only takes a female louse about 15 days before she will start laying eggs. Laying up to 150 eggs. Thats just 1 louse. This is why an infestation can get out of control so quickly and why we suggest preventative combing with a quality comb and regular checks as being an important step in preventing transfers between people. If you need help or would like someone to show you just how easy the preventative combing is, contact me. If you think this may be something your school could potentially offer all students or you would like it to be an option, suggest me to your schools P&C or a contact at school. 07.01.2022 Did you know that lice cannot jump or fly? Theres many misconceptions about nits / head lice and how they spread. In most cases, transfers are only by direct contact! Thats head to head. Just like the picture, when kids are doing activities together, selfies and even sharing iPads and getting close to each other and touching heads accidentally. 01.01.2022 Using chemical treatments not only exposes yourself and your child/ren to nasty pesticides etc it also doesnt fix the problem .. its just a bandaid fix. The chemical treatment doesnt kill the nit (egg). And if you are combing through your childs hair after the chemical treatment to get the eggs out .. why use the chemicals in the first place?? As combing is the only way to actually rid you or your child from headlice.. Have you had enough? Are you overwhelmed by the treatment process ?
