21.01.2022 fLiNG Physical Theatre’s Rescue Card No 4, Supervillain GUERILLA is half man, half beast. With the strength of a Silverback Gorilla, he is a fierce warrior and leader of the Army of Evil. Rescue Card No 5, Superhero GHOST aka The Invisible Girl, uses her power and her dodging skills to pass right by her enemies without being detected. Rescue Card No 6, Superhero BULLET aka The Flying Boy, uses his phenomenal tumbling skills to fight for good. Rescue Card No 7, Supervillain SHADOW is a powerful fighter in the Army of Evil. She is pure darkness, and can disappear into a crowd or into the shadows of the city.

17.01.2022 I saw the work of @daleharding a few years ago in the MCA's String Theory exhibition and their power and intensity never left me. "Black Days in the Dawson River Country - Remembrance Gowns" is equally powerful and evocative, a remark on the wanton and unprosecuted so called "revenge" killings of Aboriginal people. 16.01.2022 The undeniable truth: a few days ago I went to see Defying Empire at the National Gallery in Canberra. A must see exhibition - powerful, evocative, reverent, heart-wrenching, humourous and incredibly beautiful. If only every state gallery and museum could have a permanent exhibition such as this, I’m sure it would go a long way in educating the hidden and unspoken truth of our history.
