22.01.2022 N I X A . F A T S 4 things I have changed since working at 5th Element that have created change.... 1. Eating more fats in my meals: I add 18-20grams of fats over my food and i feel so satisfied and fuller for longer.... 2. Using coconut oil for face wash: its has great antibacterial properties. 3. Getting on a simple smart supplement protocol that was recommended from in depth blood work. -Zinc -Vitamin B -Probiotics -Magnesium 4. Limited coffee to once a week.....and boy is it a wonderful moment when I get to have that coffee on a Sunday!! I have seen my skin improve, my anxiety ease, my cravings ease and I just generally feel better. What are you changing to create the change you want? train.eat.live.nixa

12.01.2022 N I X A . U P D A T E I have been very quiet on social media, even deleting Facebook off my phone for a couple of days at a time. I have been in a place of learning and developing, a place that needs space and time. Working at 5th Element Wellness is a completely different experience to running my own gig. Every day there is new information, a new conversation and a feeling of the unknown. All things that encourage us to evolve and grow. ... So I will endeavour to share information that i hope will encourage inspire and educate you! train.eat.live.nixa

04.01.2022 N I X A . S A U N A A new part of my routine is having infrared saunas (we have one at work! bliss and you can use it casually!!) :) What I get out of it is relaxation but there are many other benefits. One of the main differences between a traditional sauna and an infrared sauna is the heat involved while inside the unit. Traditional dry saunas use temperatures as high as 185 to 195 degrees F, which can overwhelm those who are more sensitive to the heat. Infrared saunas us...e a much milder temperature environment of between 120 to 150 degrees F. However, because the heat of infrared saunas travels much deeper into the body, they are able to cause a more vigorous sweat at lower temperature, states Dr. Richard Beever in the July 2009 issue of "Canadian Family Physician." http://www.mindbodygreen.com//6-benefits-of-infrared-sauna

02.01.2022 N I X A . D O C O S Here are three of my favourite documentaries (2 you can find on Netflix) that educate us on our food industry, on our health and wellbeing and inspire us to make a change, that will benefit us and those around us! :) train.eat.live.nixa
