25.01.2022 Inktober Day 17 - Swollen. So this strange little guy is called a Swell Shark. From the catfish family they are rather slim with patchy and spotty markings. But....... And this is where it gets interesting, when they are or feel threatened they have the ability to swallow a large amount of water and store it in their stomachs, this creates a swollen effect that makes them look bigger and more threatening and also makes it harder for theyre predators to get them out out of rock crevices.
