03.01.2022 This is a very busy weekend after receiving the devastating news on the proposed new Moolort broiler farm ! My heart is with all the neighbouring property owners ! It is disgusting that none of you have a right to object and have your say ! It appears that the new Broiler code is specifically set up to take away people’s basic legal rights. I knew we were in for trouble when I received information re: the Administrators signing away planning for the Shire to the State govern...ment , I just didn’t realise that they already had this proposal on the go ! Much the same as when they recently allowed an expansion of sheds on the Potts Lane site ! It appears that our administrators have been very busy under Co -vid ! Fortunately for all of us they will soon be gone and good riddance to them ! Let us all remember their mantra of transparency and community consultation- what a joke ! I will be contacting Jalna Pulford tomorrow and asking for a meeting. I will also be seeking legal advice on this new matter . The fight has begun ! The Moolort Plains are a place of stunning natural beauty and highest quality farming land . We must not allow them to become the dumping ground for every dubious project thought up by seat warmers in Melbourne ! See more
