08.01.2022 Winter has well & truly kicked in! That means higher use of electrical appliances & increased risk of house fires. Here are just a few SAFETY TIPS: - Ensure you have an adequate number of fire alarms & test them regularly. - Make sure electric heaters are not kept within 1 metre of objects. - Check all electric blankets for fraying/damaged cords. - Make sue you turn heaters off when you leave the room/house.... - Do not piggy back cords on double adapters or power boards. - Always make sure you have an evacuation plan in case of a fire.
