07.01.2022 In this very moment it is important to remain constantly aware of Who we are and our sole purpose. The Who we are requires nothing more than that we seek to be ...the greatest Llove of which we are able. There is no higher calling. Our Llove needs be directed toward everything. The people in our lives and all whom/which we encounter, sentient or otherwise. One is thus detached from whatever happens in the world at large. Being encouraged to identify with all sorts of suffering on the part of others, most of whom we have absolutely no opportunity to help, may appear noble but is destructive. 01.01.2022 An exquisite description of the arising of unconditional Love: Nisargadatta: I simply followed (my teacher’s)instruction which was to focus the mind on pure be...ing, ‘I am’, and stay in it. I used to sit for hours together, with nothing but the ‘I am’ in my mind, and soon peace and joy and a deep all-embracing love became my normal state. In it, all disappeared myself, my Guru, the life I lived, the world around me. Only peace remained, and unfathomable silence.
