11.02.2022 NJ DANCE KIDS TIMETABLE! For 2022 we have moved into a NEW Dance Studio in the heart of Mission Beach. Our first week of classes will begin back Monday February 7th. Limited spaces will apply so please enroll to secure your spot! ~Looking for after-school fun with friends whilst improving confidence and fitness? Our Recreational dance classes are for you! These are offered in a variety of styles for all ages. ... JAZZ- One of our most popular styles, Jazz is an up-beat dance class which focuses on burning energy and grooving the body. ACRO- This class focuses on gaining strength and flexibility to learn skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, walkovers etc. BALLET- Our beautiful ballerinas will learn the ballet basics and technique fundamentals which creates the foundation for dance. CONTEMPORARY- A technique based class that sets out to evoke emotion and deliver a more artistic dance expression. In 2022 we will also be offering a Performance development class for our dancers. Learning how to perform at a more professional level, this class can open your dancer to the world of competitions, concerts and performance. These classes will also combine with NJ Dance's involvement in 'Pan on Silks' Production for Term 1 throughout the term. 12.01.2022 Due to yesterdays update in COVID regulations across Queensland, please note the changes to our dance week. - Classes will remain as normal this week however parent viewings have been cancelled. - Dancers under 12yrs are exempt from mask-wearing, all students over 12yrs MUST wear a mask on NJ Dance premises and will be directed by teachers when they can take them off in class. - NJ Dance staff will be wearing masks at all times. ... - Where possible parents are asked to drop students off and not enter our studio. Tiny Tot parents please ensure you are wearing a mask in the waiting room. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
