24.01.2022 Nothing like changing out a charger when it's blowing 30 knots.

24.01.2022 Another local Bowen business who we have installed a SolarEdge Technologies Inc. solar system for to reduce their electricity costs. Since installation in early June the system has produced 5.29 MWh of electricity (the average home uses 8.7MWh/year), saving the customer over $2,000 so far in only 2 months of operation. If you would like to discuss how we can reduce your power bill get in touch with us.... #solar4businesses #njselectricalsolar #startsaving #SolarEdgeShot #BowenQLD

19.01.2022 Had a customer ring me to ask about export limiting a solar system. I visited site to inspect to see what action was need. Long story short the customer had an inverter fail (5kw on 44c FIT), in comes another trade who told customer he could upgrade to 10kW and proceeded to sell customer secondhand inverter and not submit application to Ergon. This has resulted in Ergon notifying customer of non-compliance and that the 44c FIT had now been forfeited. The additional panels ins...talled now need to be removed due to incorrect installation practices and inverter replaced with a compliant inverter. This is one of my biggest issues with the Solar industry is that there are people out there who will take advantage of people and now the customer had to wear the consequences. If you are getting quotes for systems or have repairs that are needed ensure you have all the correct information. You can give us a call or flick me an email and I am more than happy to have a quick chat to ensure you are getting the best outcome no strings attached.

19.01.2022 What do you do when the shed is too far from the main switchboard and the customer has plenty of ground space. You ground mount the system of course. These system are great for customers who run pumps in remote locations.

18.01.2022 With this rain around the Whitsundays do you know what to do in the event of and Earth Fault Alarm on your Solar System. If your inverter is showing a fault of "RISO LOW" or "earth fault alarm" you need to shutdown your system following the shutdown procedure that should be located near your inverter or switchboard, then contact to arrange a time to inspect and rectify any faults in your system.

18.01.2022 Ready for shutdown and changeover to new switchboard and then to power up and let the customer start saving on their power bill. #solaredge #bowen

05.01.2022 #IMPORTANT Schneider Electric is recalling a range of Clipsal 10mA residual current devices (RCDs). The RCDs are likely installed in hospitals, aged care facil...ities and schools. They may also be in homes where the occupant has medical home care. Review any of your work since 1 July 2017 that involved installing Clipsal 10mA socket outlets and service panel RCDs. Let the home or business owner know about the risk of electric shock and advise them to contact Clipsal to arrange rectification. Stop using these products and if you see or work on one let the home or business owner know. Read more here https://www.worksafe.qld.gov.au//recall-of-clipsal-socket- See more
