20.01.2022 Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well. We have some great news to announce! Due to the 2 person limit being removed recently, we have decided to open but under some very strict rules. 1. There can only be a maximum number of 10 people in the centre at any given time. 2. Only singles can be played. 3. All players will need to sanitise upon entry. We will provide the sanitisers. 4. We will only be taking bookings through this Facebook page. Earlier messages will be prioriti...es. 5. There will be a slight change in pricing. Courts will be the same price for 2 people and below. But will be an extra $10 per person per hour for every extra person. 6. Social distancing rules must be followed at all times. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message! 13.01.2022 Dear NKBA customers, Hope you are all going well. The following message is to provide updated details on current regulations stated by the local government. We have been made aware that the local government is disallowing the opening of the all sporting indoor venues until further notice. Unfortunately due to this, we have no choice but to close the arena again until permission has been granted to re-open. This means that all bookings are cancelled and no further bookings can be made. We understand that you are all eager to get back on the court soon, and we hope to see you too. Thank you for understanding and please do not hesitate to contact us should you have further queries.

12.01.2022 Hello everyone, hope you are all well and healthy. Due to new regulations given by the government, we at Nick Kidd Badminton Arena have decided that starting Monday the 22nd of March, 2020, that all social sessions will be suspended until further notice. The shop will be open from 4pm to 8pm tomorrow for customers to collect rackets etc, additonally all courts are not available to be booked from tonight onwards. We are currently unsure as to whether the shop will remain open... after tomorrow. We will ensure that we post an update regarding the matter as soon as a decision is made. Although we are sad to bear the news, the health and safety of all our customers and staff remains the most important priority. We hope everyone stays safe and healthy during these times. The staff are working hard to keep the arena clean and sanitary in the midst of COVID-19. However, we need your help too. Prior to and during visiting NKBA please: 1. Download the CovidSafe app and register your details (staff will check upon arrival)... 2. Arrive on time and leave as soon as possible to avoid overcrowding of the arena 3. Avoid contact and maintain social distancing (no handshakes, high fives etc) This will help keep the community safer and keep our arena open to play the sport we all love. 06.01.2022 It's finally here! The long awaited training sessions are finally starting! We will be starting our Junior training sessions on the 11th of November. It is limited to 16 students per class, so book your spots quickly! Details can be found here at nkbacademy.getomnify.com or through our website at nkbarena.com. When applying for a class, you'll first need to buy a classpack and then book in an actual class. Good Luck! 06.01.2022 Dear all badminton lovers, We at Nick Kidd Badminton Arena have some exciting news! As of Monday the 18th of May the arena will be opening due to new social restrictions set by the government. However, strict hygiene and social distancing must still be observed with no more than 20 people in the arena at once. When playing please ensure to sanitise at stations provided by us and ensure to stay a safe distance for the well-being of the community. For any bookings please mention the number of people you plan on bringing so staff can plan accordingly. We are excited to bring you this news and even more excited to see you back on our courts again!
