22.01.2022 Its been a while since my last post. I hope everyone has been well. I have been feeling healthier with more energy than I have for a very long time. Unfortunately I’ve been feeling bummed out and a little blue. Cant have it all. I’m not a creature of change, I like consistency, so I will admit that I have been and still am struggling a little. For a bit of a pick me up (I shop when I’m bummed), a few weeks back I thought I would trial a new brand of Brush On Builder Gels that come in different colours. They arrived yesterday so they have not been tested of yet. If you have BOB, Soft Gel or even bare nails and are willing to help trial some of these please let me know. These are suitable as an overlay only, not extensions.

19.01.2022 The updated COVID Safe Checklist for Retail Hair and Beauty, this includes Nail Salons. As of 23 June. Not much has changed, all previous rules for attending appointments with me have not changed other than (me) having to keep your signed declarations for 56 days instead of the previous 28 days. There are still the rules in place of 4 square meters per person.

15.01.2022 Last nights set and the very last set for 2020!Transitioning from a Gel Set into Acrylic. Pic1. Gel filed back thinly and exposed natural nail prepared ready for primer and application. Pic2 & 3. The new set! Which included added sculpted length and a shape change. All Custom Acrylic Colours created from UD#021, White Acrylic and Black Pigment. Finished with White Tread Gel and Ultimate Gloss Top Coat.... Acrylic ombre is becoming one of my favourites. See more

14.01.2022 As some of you are aware, we are having some small house renovations done. Our builder is busy knocking a wall out right now, but over the last 2 weeks we have been busy ripping out the kitchen and removing tiles from the floor ready for the builder. Obviously Erik has been doing most of the work but I have been helping out to. What better time to trial a new product! I love the products I use but its always good to keep up with products on the market. I have to admit this p...articular product has surprised me. 4 weeks in with no thought for ‘after care’ and still no lifting. Brush on Builder over natural nails was used to all four fingers with Acrylic over the natural nail to the thumb, I left this nail longer to really test it. Acrylic is a product I personally have always had lifting with, considering I have taken some gouges out the free edge, which should have caused instant lifting, I am honestly impressed. See more

10.01.2022 Recently I viewed a video on Gel Powder....I initially saw the video title and thought that maybe there was a product out there that I knew nothing about so I watched it. Apparently not! 01.01.2022 SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS!!! It is a shame that Swarovski announced they will no longer be supplying crystals to anyone other than fashion houses. So, Swarovski Crystals are available until all gone. I have a good range of colours in most of the smaller sizes, as well as a small selection of larger sizes and different shapes. I did stock up a little as soon as I found out. If crystals are your thing, let me know at your next appointment. These Fire Opel Swarovski Crystals look stunning, even through plastic. Red is my go to favourite.
