20.01.2022 This projects going to be a showstopper
18.01.2022 Junction Street project site allowed the opportunity to frame a magnificent outlook across Newport Lakes Reserve. The design takes full advantage of the surrounding views by implementing a reversed living arrangement with large expanses of glass. A great success, the owners couldn't be happier.... What viewing opportunities does your site offer? Speak to us today to find out.
17.01.2022 Thinking of renovating? There are some great tips here around the dollars/percentage you should be putting into your project to avoid overcapitalising. http://www.domain.com.au//i-spent-far-too-much-on-my-reno/

11.01.2022 With the transformation of space there follows a significant & evolving change to life, paving the way to a new found contentment away from the outside environmental stresses we cannot control. What one client had to say about their home... You nailed the brief for the home it feels spacious due to the continual sight lines to the outside, the light, flexibility, and adaptability of the design. We asked for a light filled and open feel and even on the dullest day we do n...ot need the lights on. Upstairs we love the way the plant shadows ‘dance’ on the frosted glass. We also asked for an overall feel of integration of space for the home: maintaining the functionality of each space yet an overall feel of integration for: inside outside; top bottom; front back. The spaces are uncluttered, unhurried yet functional and easy to live in. You can hear how much we love the home! With both of us working at home during the Covid 19 pandemic, we have really tested the flexibility and adaptability of the spaces. From the upstairs living overlooking Newport Lakes Reserve, you watch the sunrise in the morning at one end and the sunset in the evening at the other. It is also Tim’s and my favourite morning tea space, so close we can almost touch the trees. The bedroom this space provides us with a quiet retreat style space. The inclusion of the beautiful bath and reading nook seat that captures the afternoon sun, give it a luxurious and relaxed feel. The room feels quiet and unhurried and the large courtyard access door looks out onto our beautiful magnolia tree and lets in the autumn and winter sun. The entry foyer and multi-room (photo 4) this room has proven most useful to us. The fold down wall bed means it is a lovely space for guests and the grandchildren to stay over. During these isolation weeks its flexibility has been wonderful, early morning it is the exercise & yoga room bathed in morning light. By 9am each weekday it’s been transformed into a workspace with the addition of a simple light weight desk. Two of us can comfortably work from home one upstairs and one down. The upstairs balcony this autumn with us both home every day it’s had more use than ever. Sunny morning teas and lunches have provided a sense of getting out in the fresh air and away from work. It was a pleasure working on this project with Carmel and Tim.

02.01.2022 This certainly takes some shine off the shipping container for human habitation....
02.01.2022 I made my way through my design course manually drawing everything. Thankfully computer aided design quickly took over and allowed design ideas to leap off the page into a 3D presentation. Satisfied designer, very happy client! https://www.facebook.com/ArchiiEngineering/posts/1102214496557959:0
