21.01.2022 Slick marketing is one thing but it doesn’t get things done. Something’s wrong at Darebin Council and its time for a change. As we recover from the health pandemic we need to get real jobs back and our local businesses thriving.... We need action - not just words.
20.01.2022 I don’t agree with some of the positions that she takes but I absolutely respect her honesty. And people that know me, know that I have the same passion for giving our young kids the opportunities in life that they deserve not the opportunities they can afford. Politicians that promise to be all things to all people or will work together on whatever you’re passionate about are at best just slippery, or at worst dishonest.... Its not leadership its marketing.
17.01.2022 The state Labor Government is building something special to replace the Bell Level Crossing as well as at Oakover, Cramer and Murray. And that comes with a massive investment from the State Government. I believe it is time for Council to do its part - not just another advocacy plan. And I'm prepared to put that in writing.
15.01.2022 Our Council has been taken over by zealots. It’s lead to crazy decisions like the disastrous parking strategy and endless rates dollars poured into ‘advocacy campaigns’ that amount to thinly veiled Greens recruitment campaigns. Now, as residents, we’re not only paying for the bad decisions we’re also paying skyrocketing workcover premiums.... Darebin's insurance premium has more than doubled in three years to $1.762 million. Why? Because of the toxic culture and a disproportionate number of staff at Darebin who have taken leave because of stress. This has not just happened on the watch of the current Councillors it’s a direct result of the culture and example set by the Mayor and controlling Greens Councilors. I’ve seen this kind of bullying first hand during this campaign. More on that later. Now sit back and watch the Councilors try to distance themselves from Council Operations just like they tried to distance themselves from the horrific Parking Strategy.
