They have continued to serve during COVID with a drive through pantry allowing people to get their necessities in a safe way while maintaining social distancing. City of Newcas...tle provided the Pantry with funds under the COVID19 Boost Our City Grants to enable the purchase of a commercial fridge to assist in ensuring fresh food is available to people who need a hand. In the context of the Adventist Mission in the north of NSW, there is so much to be proud of. Looking back, we see people engaged in the mission with the willingness to innovate and adapt. We thank God for the vision, faith and sacrifice of our pioneers less than two life spans ago. Even though we have been here for 100 years, we will continue to spread the Three Angels Messages until He comes.

The Holy Spirit brought Gods word to life as we examined the three angels messages of Revelation 14 and helped us more to understand His everlasting gospel.. In these presentations the Bible was its own interpreter and we are confident that we were faithful to these texts of Holy Scripture. 08.01.2022 We exist for mission. It is our birth notice. Last Sabbath at Grey Nomads we sang Seeking the Lost and There’s a place for every worker in the vineyard of t...he Lord. As we sang, I asked them to put a pin where they had served in mission. Have a look at the South Pacific Islands. They are totally covered in pins. The motto of their era was The Gospel to all the World in this generation. The response was amazing. The Grey nomads truly have made a huge impact and in particular have reached the Pacific for Christ. Thank you to the South Pacific Division for supporting and resourcing mission in the Pacific over the years. My question is do we who follow these Grey Nomads still have the same passion for mission at home and in the Pacific? My fear is that in such a time as this when we should be building on the seeds sown we are in fact underinvesting and maybe even de investing our time, talent and resources when and where it counts most. Is it still a case of the Gospel message to all the world especially to our Pacific family who don’t have the same resources we do. It is to our own peril if we forget/neglect them. Love your work Grey Nomads.

04.01.2022 Here at the NNSW Children’s Ministries Resource Centre we are always innovating and creating to serve churches and schools even more. One of our biggest issue...s has been columns and the ability to transport them effectively. These columns arrived today and have light aluminium frames that pack down along with a material cover. (We have two larger and two smaller frames) I think they will come up well with lights inside them. These columns fit with the Treasured VBS theme but we are going to print more skins to create different columns. Thanks to our graphic designer Susan Merchant and to our awesome printer Alicia Chandler from Sticky Business for your innovation, creation and expertise on this project. I love it! See more

This is why they had such a difficult time with His evangelistic mission. We arent in it for power or are we? Our aim and our goal is to be in the Way for Christs sake and for the glory of God.
