23.01.2022 Bethany Drury, who trains with us 3 times a week, has swum 5.8km so far for the Starlight Foundation Super Swim Challenge, but is still $115 short of her fundraising goal. If you can support her please use this link: superswim.org.au/beth-swims-for-sick-kids Any little bit will help brighten the lives of kids in hospital, and give Bethany great encouragement!... Next year we’ll try and get a team together!

23.01.2022 Learning to float is one of many fundamental skills we teach kids (and adults) to achieve. It’s not as easy as it looks for many people, and when teaching and learning, patience is key. This little chicken wouldn’t even put her ears or face in the water when she started, now she’s totally the bestest swimmer ever! and she loves her lessons. If you’d like yourself or your kids to receive nothing but the best, be sure to call us on 4421 5995 and book your spot! We’re almost completely full, so get in quick!

23.01.2022 Message from Kirsty for the end of 2020! What a year it’s been! Bushfires, respiratory issues, smelling like a BBQ the first couple of months, then floods, AND THEN THE RORO where the whole world went nuts! Toilet paper and food shortages, Lockdowns, SHUT DOWNS, restrictions, illnesses, social distancing, masks, washing and sanitising our hands 24/7 and it becoming a new norm for all around the world. Being virtually confined to our one state all year, our own towns for a pe...riod of time, covid tests, staring at anyone who coughs, staff changes and trying to find the right balance- the list is endless! But it’s been a trip! I do think we are all ready for this year to end and 2021 to begin! Personally 2020 hasn’t been too kind to me health wise. I need to take this opportunity to thank all the families, especially the families I looked after, for your patience, understanding and kindness throughout this tough period. Without your kindness and support of our swim school, well, we wouldn’t be here Thank you to all who attend North Nowra Swim School, and support us in our endeavour to educate as many children in our community as possible in Water Safety. Swimming Lessons are the greatest gift any parent could give their child, and we are forever grateful you’ve chosen us to join you all on this journey. Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday’s to all. We look forward to seeing you all in 2021 for a FULL YEAR of swimming!!! I cannot write an end of year post without thanking My Loves. My ladies. OUR Family and Team. Without these amazing women, there would be no NNSS. AT ALL! These amazing woman have helped build this business to where it is today, with blood, sweat and tears quite literally. They’ve worked their bottoms off to keep the swim school running while I’ve been unable to really help in any way. These woman are my lifelines, and I couldn’t ask for a better team to go through this crazy life with. Thank you for all that you are, all that you do, all that you’ve done and will continue to do. It is because of you beautiful ladies that I’ve been able to concentrate on getting my health back on track, and for that I will be forever thankful that I’ve such amazing, strong, intelligent, kind, caring and loyal women in my life. And let’s also say, the biggest laughs are always had with you girls! THANK YOU!!!! See you all in 2021! X

23.01.2022 And we’ve made it to our LAST LESSONS of 2020! Thank you to all of our amazing families who continue to support our swim school. Thank you for entrusting our team to teach your babes the most important skill they could learn. We love our Swim School families dearly, and wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas, and best wishes to all for a safe, happy, healthy 2021. See you next year!

She sends her love to all her babies and squads and says to keep up the good work! Because of Lynny being unwell, we have had to shuffle around many classes in order to make sure everyone is taken care of, however, we ask during this time for your patience as we try and get through this busy time. 13.01.2022 A huge congrats to Miss E on her amazing achievement today- backstroke down the length of the pool, all by herself! Bobbie & her Mum have been getting lots of practice with learning patience when Miss E is in the pool. She’s been coming since she was a baby, yet lacked the confidence to let go. Her mum would also likely tell you, that there’s some stubbornness thrown in there at times too Here’s a pic from today of E doing some awesome big arms on the board. We are super proud of you Miss E! You deserved the great big cheer you got today!! Mum has definitely realised that no 2 kids are the same, and sometimes it takes more patience than you realise when it comes to learning to swim. Thanks for your persistence Mum!! And great work Bobbie Jo!

08.01.2022 One year ago today, life changed for so many of us. We had to close and for 4 months we remained closed! We thank our lucky stars everyday we live in a country that took such a threat seriously and we are almost back to normal! What a year it's been! Continue to sanitise and stay safe families.

07.01.2022 This right here is a massive achievement for Miss H. She started here at NNSS not even allowing her mum to put water on her head or anywhere near her face and ears!! For her to now come off the wall like this, and to go eyes down every time she’s asked to, and not argue back about it is HUGE! She now loves the pool and is super proud that she can stand up all by herself in the shallow end! We’re so proud of you H!
