18.01.2022 A whoopsie Wednesday. Builder with a grinder 1, new urinal in wall cistern 0. Gotta laugh about it, no point crying about it. Was only a couple of weeks old too.

17.01.2022 A little gas hot water unit replacement from yesterday. Gas regulator at bottles was not up to code and quite old, the new unit was a little more thirsty in the gas department. Supply and install new auto change over gas reg and bring it up to current gas standards. Reomve all rubbish and leave site clean and tidy.

15.01.2022 A few down pipes and rainwater head done and dusted. Cleaned gutters and refined into wall as half the gutter had become unattached. What better way to spend a cold Saturday morning at the football club. Keep an eye out for any support your local sporting clubs need as we are all struggling but the clubs will need us when life gets a little closer to normal. For me the Sandgate hawks football club was calling and we were more than happy to oblige. Get around your sporting clubs guys. They will need you.

14.01.2022 Turns out it’s not a good idea to lay the water pipe inside the concrete path around the house. More old faulty water pipe fittings, more water meters spinning around unnoticed. Thank you harry the home handyman. But the bloke at the big green shed said it would work. That’s why a good tradesman is well worth his weight in gold as water bills can get quite expensive.

06.01.2022 A bit of a mess to say the least. This was a new stormwater pump out well that every home handy men had had a go at. What a mess. Was not perfect but sure was an improvement on what was there and it worked correctly.

06.01.2022 Curse of the pop up plug and waste again, and again and again. This stuff never gets old. If it looks fancy it will require maintenance, if you saw it in your grandmothers house it will last forever. No cracks plumbing broken record.

04.01.2022 Wow what a job. I little leak in the front lawn. An old brand poly connector that had a bad design from the start had a little fight with a small tree root and lost. Note the root in the nut end of the fitting following the thread around and around till finally the fitting popped apart. Gotta love tree roots and old faulty designed products. As a professional plumbing company we try to recognise this and avoid possible down the track by doing things differently.

01.01.2022 Client wondered why the tap wouldn’t turn off. They apparently change tap washers regularly. Changing washers is only half the job done. No Cracks Plumbing will always conduct a complete overhaul with new washers, o rings, regrease and reseat. A new flat washer will never seal on an uneven or grooved seat.
