25.01.2022 The story goes, Is London bridge falling down falling down but is it really the bulla bridge that's falling down? Save our bridge! No Toxic Soil in Bulla or Sunbury!

21.01.2022 I’ve seen lots of donuts over the past few weeks. Here are some for Josh Bull.

20.01.2022 Update: 24/11/2020 Hi All, We've all had some time to process the news yesterday and make some comment on the various posts that have been put up and I personally wanted to give you all an update as the the state of play. As you are aware Hi-Quality was not approved for is Planning Scheme Amendment, but it was also not denied. This is a troubling decision as it does not close off the application. This amendment is however the minimum requirement to progress through the tender... process to the next stage. We can expect Hi-Quality to continue to push for their PSA to be approved as they would have spent considerable money on their proposal and the contract is large ($700m+) so any company in their right mind would continue to actively engage with government until a decision has been made. We are yet to officially hear from the Minister for Planning (Richard Wynne) and he is expected to speak or release a statement tomorrow (according to The Herald Sun) will he announce at that time that Hi-Quality has also been approved.? As you will have also seen there has now been announcements from Moorabool Shire Council that they are exploring legal avenues. Melton City Council has made a statement but have not identified any direct actions that they will take. We are still not out of the woods, as the proposal has not been declined or rejected there is still a very real chance that tunnel spoil can and may be processed at Hi-Quality. I believe the foundations laid out by the previous council give them many avenues to explore including legal avenues and I believe that our new councilors all stand united in support of those past actions and ensuring that this soil doesn't come to Hi-Quality. As a group we will not be stopping until we have written confirmation from the minister that this will not be dumped at Hi-Quality. Keep you eye on the ball we are still very much in play. We will continue to advocate on all levels to stop this spoil coming to Bulla and we have many things that will be happening over the coming weeks that we are excited to release to help us get the word out. You will still see our signs around town and stickers on cars and us continuing to be vocal. Please do not stop! this is by no means over.

19.01.2022 Our Local member keeps telling us its safe. The Westgate Tunnel Authority keep saying it is safe yet not a single one of them is able to give us the data that shows it is safe. So if it is so safe why redact and hide such vital information that the community is entitled to know.... BELOW! you can see the documents contained in the now APPROVED EPA EMP for Hi-Quality, documents that we are told to research to educate ourselves yet these documents are heavily redacted. Treatment Process - REDACTED Groundwater Tests - REDACTED Human Health and Ecological risk assessment - REDACTED Containment Cell Design - REDACTED In a number of statements from various people in positions of power we've been called keyboard warriors, in another statement the it was mentioned that we are spreading misinformation. One statement we are told to go to the Project website to seek the correct information. Well folks, here is the VITAL information you have a right to see in all its REDACTED GLORY.

11.01.2022 I know many of you have been asking for this since my first image showing proximity to housing estates. I thought it best I take it out a bit and show the real extent of where Hi-Quality is situated, the lay of the land. WHY WOULD YOU EVER CONSIDER THIS PLACE TO BECOME VICTORIAS BIGGEST TOXIC DUMP? HI-QUALITY IS SURROUNDED BY ... -19,000 NEW HOMES -3 HOUSING ESTATES -FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL (400m) -FUTURE TOWN CENTRE (300m) -1.5KM TO GOONAWARRA -2.7KM TO AN ACTIVE VINEYARD -4.5KM FROM THE HEART OF SUNBURY This is NOT the right place for a TOXIC DUMP, never has been never will be. Now we can see just how much is at risk and how close it REALLY is. How will it affect you, your future, your family. I JUST DON'T GET WHY THIS PLACE WOULD EVEN BE CONSIDERED?

11.01.2022 Is the Toxic Tunnel about to Ramp up? We've asked Josh Bull for months for proof that this is spoil is safe and we are yet to hear back from him. He says "Trust him" he has done his research. (Ahem so have I Josh and it isn't safe) We've asked the EPA how they plan on managing the "safe" disposal of soil when they cannot even manage legal or illegal disposal at BTQ.... We've got proof that the Bulla Bridge has cracked and sinking and will potentially collapse under the strain of these trucks, yet VicRoads ignore us. This is a threesome of incompetence. Residents are sick of being ignored Josh, we are sick of being ignored by the Minister, sick of being ignored by the EPA and sick of being ignored by every other government department when we are raising real concerns.

02.01.2022 Victorian government has continually said this is safe but have excluded Active involvement from Australia’s National science agency the CSIRO. I knew CSIRO were working on technologies aimed at breaking down PFAS type chemicals so I contacted them to find out their involvement. It appears the State Government weren’t interested in involving our leading science agency to combat the issue. Why not?: Timeframe? Cost? Possible unfavourable findings or outcomes?... Here’s what they had to say to the questions I asked (actual emails available for anyone. PM if you want a copy): Q - Has the CSIRO been contacted for expert help in dealing with the disposal of PFAS contaminated soil from the tunnel projects in Melbourne? If so, what were your recommendations? Were they adopted? A - Yes, we had been contacted, but our involvement did not proceed. The short turnaround time for input did not allow active involvement from CSIRO. Q - Are you aware of the proposal to dump the toxic soil close to Emu Ck <100m and within hundreds of metres from existing and proposed communities in and around Sunbury and Bulla? What would be your expert opinion about the risks to the environment and community? A - We are not aware of strategies for management that might be being adopted. CSIRO has not had an opportunity to investigate the issue. If CSIRO and its collaborating agencies were contracted to investigate and/or propose sound management options for the contaminated soils in terms of where it could be stored or how it could be safely reused for beneficial purposes, it would require thorough investigations in terms of level of contamination, soil volumes, type of soils and potential reuse options. Kind regards, CSIRO Enquiries Team

01.01.2022 Breaking News; Today the State Labor Government has Gazette amendments to the Melton Planning Scheme and the Moorabool planning scheme, approving Bacchus Marsh and Ravenhall as the two sites to process tunnel spoil. The Planning minister has not made amendments to the Hume Planning Scheme at this stage.... What does this mean? At this stage Hi Quality has been unsuccessful in its proposal to accept and process West Gate Tunnel Spoil. It also means that while we have not been approved at this stage by the minister, that there is not guarantee that we wont be approved at a later date. More to come, as this information starts to be processed. We are working feverishly to provide you with as much news as possible as soon as possible.
