22.01.2022 Fed up with uncertainty over Brexit? Why not holiday in Cornwall this year? Still some weeks available, and you don't even need a passport!

18.01.2022 Portloe itself is the tiniest of villages, tucked into the cliffside, with one winding road leading down to the sea. Its little cove is still a working harbour, making it a regular sight to see the two fishermen, David Rounsevell and Chris Mylinski hard at work with their boats. The harbour is perfect for swimming in at high tide, and there are coastal walks aplenty to enjoy from the doorstep.

16.01.2022 As mentioned, we tend not to stray that far afield, but these are some of our favourite things to do, along with a few other ideas.

14.01.2022 We've really enjoyed gradually doing up the inside of the cottage over the last few years, and have worked really hard to keep its original homely feel. It's fair to say we love how it's turned out! Favourite features are definitely the woodburner, and the new kitchen, though we had also have had lots of fun choosing all of the fabrics, linen, colours and curtains as well.

08.01.2022 Whilst often we find ourselves staying in Portloe itself, there are plenty of lovely places to explore nearby.

08.01.2022 More things that we love about No. 8 - the garden and the cliff top terrace. Many an afternoon has been spent snoozing, or reading a book in the garden; and evening barbeques up on the terrace are a must-do. Enjoying a glass of wine, warmed by the chiminea as the sun sets over the sea is also pretty spectacular!
