25.01.2022 CATS NEED REHAB TOO Over the last few months the hydro team has had the pleasure of having more of our feline friends join us for rehabilitation. Just like their canine counterparts, cats can injure themselves. However, unlike dogs, a lot of cats hide their pain so it often goes unnoticed. But regardless of their brave faces, they definately respond better when proper treatment is applied. ... We strive to provide a feline friendly experience. Below we have darling Megsy who lost a leg to an accident. He joined us for hydro to help strengthen the rest of his legs to support himself properly so he can continue getting up to mischief. Some people think that our hydro girls are crazy for getting cats in the water (those people would be right), but all of the cats so far have loved their swims and have responded well to treatment . 24.01.2022 The Big Splash! A Jussi Milestone The big man has big legs and hips and after discovering some minor muscle deterioration it was important we built them up wi...th some low impact exercise like hydrotherapy. Our first visit was, well, a bit of a trial after taking 20 minutes to get Juss in the pool. He refused to budge and took up to 4 people to get him in. After 2 months of weekly visits the big man beats us getting in and has just taken to launching himself! A great sign he loves it more than hates it. Whether it's the feeling of accomplishment, the surge of adrenaline, spending quality time with the people he loves or just the pure fun, Jussman is now a poolman! A MASSIVE thank you to Donna, Robyn and the other Hydrotherapist and team at Noahs Crossing- Vet for being so patient and assisting us with the big wet mop head The Jussman is now stronger, built muscle, in less pain and generally happy, lean and fit! 19.01.2022 HYDRO HOT WEATHER ALERT This coming summer we are implementing a hot weather policy in regards to all hydrotherapy appointments. Even though the pool is nice and cool, swimming is still a very intense exercise and we want to avoid dogs over heating once they are out of the pool and potentially experiencing heat exhaustion... On days above 38C the pool will be closed. Every Monday we will check that weeks predicted weather and call affected clients to reschedule any appointments on these hot days On days that catastrophic weather conditions are announced we will close the pool and we encourage clients to have their bush fire action plan ready. We will be offering early swims and late afternoon swims to avoid dogs travelling in the heat of the o hot days below 38C. Watch this space for any updated operating hours during these hot periods This hot weather policy only affects hydrotherapy. The clinic will still be functioning as per normal appointment times and business hours

19.01.2022 Paging Hamza Massive congratulations to our very own Hamza, who passed his recent exam allowing him to register as a veterinarian in Australia. Hamza joined us here at Noah's as a nurse in 2019. He soon became a popular part of the team and a favourite amongst clients.... Hamza somehow charmed his way to becoming practice manager - Jo's golden child, even though he was late to work one day because of a scary spider. (No Hamza, we won't let you forget that one) After moving to Australia from Pakistan, where he was a practising veterinarian, Hamza worked as a nurse whilst studying to pass his exams. We are thrilled to have Hamza continue on with us as a veterinarian. We know you'll do a wonderful job Hamza... when you're not falling asleep on your lunch break for 1.5 hours Ps. Beginning his training with us through our SuperPups Puppy School Program, Clancy and his Mum l...earnt how to train basic skills such as sit, drop and place as well a wide range of exposure and socialisation exercises. Oh and of course his 'Learn to Swim' lesson. But Clancy and his Ma' weren't done there and have since continued their journey with Dayschool and our Obedience, Confidence & Conditioning classes. With such a great start and a dedicated family, we can't wait to see this little spunk grow up into a confident and happy adult dog and we are so happy to be a part of the journey. Disabled parking for owners and their pets We ask our clients to respect that these disabled parks are for clients and patients who need them. These parks are located close to both the clinic and the hydrotherapy centre to make it easy for those who need to lift and carry their dogs in for treatment. Its also ideal for clients who may need them for their own mobility. We look forward to seeing everyone enjoy these improvements to our clinic

Those who know our hydrotherapist Kait, know how crazy she is for cats (or just plain crazy) Today she and Vee showed the world that cats can swim just as good as any dog! ... Often cats get overlooked due their ability to hide their pain. But like their canine counterparts they can suffer from arthritis, muscle injuries and other conditions that would benefit from rehabilitation. Vee suffers from lower back pain and hip issues, this affects her mobility. So today we introduced her to the pool and as seen below she did swimmingly! We look forward to her future therapy sessions and watching her mobility improve
