24.01.2022 The early recycling sorting game makes teaching the next generation about recycling, fun! The children along with their educator sorted and classified the products into the appropriate recycling categories. They learnt about which materials can and should be recycled and can now use that new found knowledge to help protect our environment! 22.01.2022 Would you like to know how the staff at Noah’s ark learning academy maintain a healthy and safe environment?! On a daily basis, we ensure that we complete all indoor and outdoor cleaning checklists. We also disinfect the toys on a daily basis that the children have utilised that day with warm, soapy water! Our staff also have been busy disinfecting furniture and ensuring all areas of each room is clean. On Fridays, we have been disinfecting ALL toys to ensure that we pro...vide the children with resources that are free from germs! Hand-washing has been practiced within the environment both with the children and staff! We have been teaching the children how to correctly wash their hands through role modelling, posters and actual practices. We also encourage families to apply hand sanitiser before and after signing their child/ren in/out as well as signing a health declaration form upon arrival on a daily basis. We understand that this time is a stressful time for many families as they are experiencing the unknown in regards to the Coronavirus, however, rest assured that we are taking extra precautions to ensure that we provide a germ/illness free environment and we are keeping up to date with all of the latest news and updates! You will be responsible for contributing to observations, programming and supporting the children's learning outcomes, as well as building meaningful relationships with the children, their families and other educators. Today our kangaroos enjoyed hunting around the room for picture books which were hidden under and in the middle of spaces! Once the books have been found, each kangaroo had a turn at coming up in front of the class and giving us their visual understanding of what they think is happening in their book!
