It is inevitable that there is no honey without the bee sting and he who abandons positive work for the sake of murmurings of people resembles the horse that bolts when it sees its own shadow. Gold does not lose its value if it is rejected by animals and the sun is not blemished if you cannot see it one day. It is imperative that we do not fail in doing good for we shall reap the harvest in due time if we do not weary. Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good! Which team will take home the cup this year?! The day will include an Australia Day sausage sizzle and plenty of snacks and drinks will be available including gelato, slushies, popcorn and fairy floss. EFTPOS facilities will be available!... SOCCER COMPETITION: Women's Competition: 1:00pm-3:00pm Men's Competition: 3:00pm-8:00pm HOW TO REGISTER YOUR TEAM: (BY: 31/01/21 - 11:30pm) MUST BE OVER 18 TO REGISTER GO TO: https://australia-day-cup-2021.eventbrite.com.au 1. Choose a team name & captain 2. Team captain purchase one ticket for your team. 3. You will be prompted to select a colour that your team will all wear on the day and enter your team name. 4. You must list all the players that will be on your team on the day. If any changes are made, this should be communicated to Jordan Rafail (number below). There will be a women’s competition and then a men’s competition. There will be NO mixed teams. Teams should consist of a minimum of 5 players + Subs if desired. (Maximum of 8 players per team). Cost will be $100 per team. (This equals $12.50 per player for a team of 8). Women must arrive by 12:30pm and men must arrive by 2:30pm to play or risk forfeiting your first match.There will be a maximum of 6 Women’s teams and 10 Men’s teams. Places are limited so get in quick!If you have any questions or would like to make any amendments to your team, please contact Jordan Rafail on 0426 237 544 .
