14.01.2022 What great day to hold round 2 of the Southern chapter of the MASA Trophy. Held at Noarlunga Model Aero sport club. The weather couldn't have been better. Resu...lt where, South coast 120pts, Strathalbyn 90pts and Noarlunga 90pts. So after 2 rounds the results for both chapters are as follows. Northern - Concorde 240pts - South Hummocks 210pts - Moonta 150pts Southern - South coast 250pts - Strathalbyn 190pts - Noarlunga 160pts Photos from today.

11.01.2022 What a great day of flying (Come and Try Day 2021). Noarlunga Model Aero Sports would like to thank all that came along and gave it a try, and also a big thank you to the instructors, cooks and other helpers who made the day the success it was. For the budding pilots that had a try:- the club has regular training days on Sundays from 10am - 3pm, please come along on one of these days as the instructors will be able to spend a lot more one on one time with you.

11.01.2022 Cheap Jet A1 fuel for sale $0.50 per litre. Contact Grant Edwards on 0418834370 The fuel has been removed from an aircraft. The fuel is perfectly clean but due to the CASA regulations we can’t put it back in the plane.

06.01.2022 History Battery was 5s 5000; unsure of age but at least two years. Always discharged and recharged on balance at correct figures. Last Sunday it started to feel really sluggish. Balanced ok and highest Internal resistance was under 10 m/ohms.... Yesterday after flying ,I discharged properly and put it back on charge; I also had a brand new one charging, so was prepared to check often. Previous check was about a half hour earlier, so I was surprised to walk in and find this horrible mess. On testing it had apparently taken very little of the charge; so I completely discharged it with automotive globes in series and now it is ready for the dump. See more
