13.01.2022 The year 2020 started with great hope after the devastating earthquakes of October 2019. Our team worked hard to rework our vision and actions after losing a building where the gelato manufacturing was based. We commenced negotiations with new communities to assist in rebuilding livelihoods after the earthquakes. It was looking very positive when we left in February with plans to return in March. This was the year to expand! Then there was Covid19!

13.01.2022 Rows of tents now home for those displaced by the October earthquakes. A sense of quiet desperation as families struggle to establish a normal life again.

09.01.2022 Makilala was greatly impacted by three significant earthquakes (6. in October 2019. The results being 5,000 displaced people who no longer have homes and huge tracts of land impacted by landslides. This has also created loss of livelihood through destruction of farming land and buildings housing businesses. #makilala #nobleendeavours #disasterrelief

04.01.2022 Makilala local government offices are now housed in tents as the former offices are uninhabitable. Noble Endeavours team visited the mayor and a delegation of community representative to discuss the development of new livelihood projects for farmers and displaced workers. A proposal to replicate our dairy farm was discussed and a further new pilot meat goat project. Time now to create the plan so that training can commence in April 2020. #makilala #disasterrelief #makeadifference #nobleendeavours

04.01.2022 Tonight was the first time that these devastating earthquakes were reported in an Australian news broadcast! The situation in North Cotabato is dire with homes and infrastructure destroyed. This is one of the poorest regions in Southeast Asia where the average monthly income for farmers is around $40AUD per month. Events like this mean a step into greater poverty as there is no way to recovery unless international aid is delivered. Please consider giving a donation to support these people through organisations such as Red Cross or World Vision. Ian has returned home to Australia after experiencing the last two earthquakes.

03.01.2022 The reason why we have been so quiet is 18 months of research, negotiations & hard work. This is finally about to be fulfilled in our new product Italian Gelato. The production of this gelato will involve hundreds of farmers and secure a regular steady income for their milk and fruits. It will create hundreds of new jobs in production and post production. In partnership with the University of Southern Mindanao and Department of Trade and Industry Region 12, we are demonstrating how partnership can create change for good. #noblegoatph #gelato #mindanao #philippines

01.01.2022 We all work hard but we also have great fun times. Can you get an Oreo from your forehead into your mouth? #kid4kid #nobleendeavours #noblegoat #mindanao #Philippines

01.01.2022 Honored to see DA Secretary William D. Dar, Asec. William C. Medrano, and NDA Adm. Marilyn B. Mabale pose with Noble Milk, a recognition of our contribution to the Philippines dairy industry. Happy 25th Anniversary, National Dairy Authority. We appreciated the invitation to showcase what indigenous farmers in Mindanao are able to accomplish with support from government and private enterprise.
