17.01.2022 TLC Healthcare confirmed today that there are NO active cases of COVID-19 amongst the residents, staff or contractors at Noble Manor.

16.01.2022 To all our residents, family & friends, patients, students and staff, TLC wish you a Merry Christmas. May this Holiday Season sparkle and shine!

15.01.2022 As COVID-19 continues to circulate in the community, the current advice from the Department of Health and Human Services that only essential visitors should attend aged care homes remains in place. Accordingly, TLC is continuing to restrict visits to all of our aged care homes to ONE REGISTERED CARER PER DAY FOR A MAXIMUM OF 2 HOURS, unless agreed with the General Manager of the home in advance of your visit. If a residents has more than one registered carer, they can visit o...n alternate days, but not on the same day. All residents must also remain within TLC homes; all scenic bus tours and external outings with family and friends, including overnight stays, cannot be permitted. Registered carers will be required to present their photo ID card to staff on entering and exiting TLC homes, and complete our entry screening protocols. If you do not have a photo ID card, please request one at reception between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Any registered carer who has visited an identified area of public exposure in Victoria or New South Wales should follow testing and isolation advice, and not visit an aged care home under any circumstances. Please visit the Department of Health and Human Services website for daily updates. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case, you will also not be permitted to enter a TLC home. If you are a registered carer visiting a resident, please ensure you wear a fitted face mask at all times. Please ensure that you share this information with family and friends who may be planning to visit our homes, as anyone identified as not meeting TLC’s COVID-19 protocols will be asked to leave the premises. We will again assess the risk of community transmissions on Monday, 11 January 2021, and advise you accordingly of any easing of our COVID-19 protocols. Once again, thank you for your cooperation to ensure that we continue to protect our people; and we will continue to keep you updated with further developments.

11.01.2022 Jen Walter, resident extraordinaire of Noble Manor, realised it can be difficult to work with a mask and shield and she wanted to do something to make it easier for the care team. She knitted those amazing mask extenders to relieve the pressure off the back of the ears! The whole team at Noble Manor is so grateful! Thank you, Jen! It is very rewarding when residents look after the team who work tirelessly to care for them.

10.01.2022 Presenting the Noble Manor Pool Sharks. True to their name with years of experience behind them, they can see shots that your average man couldn't dream of. Take them on if you think you've got what it takes. Frank, a member of the sharks, is also a talented drummer who would rarely turn down a jam session.

All residents will be also required to stay within TLC homes from 5:00pm on 31 December 2020. Unfortunately this means that external outings with family and friends, including overnight stays, cann...ot be permitted. Registered carers will be required to present their photo ID card to staff on entering and exiting TLC homes, and complete our entry screening protocols. If you do not hold a registered carer photo ID card, you will not be permitted to enter a TLC home. Any registered carer who has visited an identified area of public exposure in Victoria or New South Wales should follow testing and isolation advice, and not visit an aged care home under any circumstances. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case, you will also not be permitted to enter a TLC home under any circumstances. We will reassess the risk of community transmissions on Monday, 4 January 2021, and advise you accordingly of any easing of our COVID-19 protocols. TLC’s protocols have ensured that all of our homes have remained free of COVID-19; and your understanding and cooperation will be essential to ensure that we continue to protect our people. Thank you for your support, and we will update you of further developments on Monday, 4 January 2021.

04.01.2022 Remembrance Day is observed on 11 November in most countries to recall the end of hostilities of First World War on that date, in 1918. It honours the sacrifice and loss of those who have served during wartime to defend our freedom and democracy. Many of our residents at TLC Aged Care either served or have family and friends who have served. The story of Remembrance Day is one of service and care for each other. It is this story with which the TLC community connects to the... ethos and meaning of Remembrance Day through our Mission and Values. This has been epitomised throughout this year as we have worked tirelessly to keep our residents, patients and each other safe and well. Lest We Forget.
