25.01.2022 Escaping up north this school holidays? If youre travelling with your dog to northern Western Australia, theres a few things you need to know. A serious dog d...isease called ehrlichiosis has been found in parts of the Kimberley and more recently in the Pilbara. This disease occurs when an infected brown dog tick bites a dog. Dog owners can help to stop this disease spreading to other parts of WA with these simple steps: Before you go on holidays, see your vet about putting your dog on a tick control program. Follow the packet instructions exactly or the treatment may not work. Ensure your dog is treated for at least three weeks after returning from the Kimberley and Pilbara. Tick treatment doesnt always kill the ticks straight away, so you should check your dog for ticks every day while in the Kimberley and Pilbara especially around the neck, head, ears, armpits, belly and in between toes and carefully remove ticks to reduce the risk of infection. Check your dog is healthy before leaving the Kimberley and Pilbara. See a vet if your dog is showing any signs of ehrlichiosis. For more information, visit www.agric.wa.gov.au/ehrlichiosis

This paired with the other enrichment they get throughout the day helps to make sure they have a stress from stay with us

14.01.2022 Here at Noblestarzz we understand the importance of a stress free stay and the impact enrichment can have in making that possible. Its because of this that we make sure our guests get some kind of enrichment every single day. Whether that be a Kong, a licky mat, a food puzzle, or any of our homemade creations we make. We even cater for special diet dogs and make sure they are enriched too. Sometimes they have enrichment out in our day yards, sometimes its posted on here an...d sometimes they have them when they are in their kennels to keep them busy throughout the day. We see the difference it makes in our guests and that is why it is our priority. We look forward to seeing you all soon

09.01.2022 Hey everyone, if you have boarded with us over the last 18months please listen up! We are getting close to that time of year again when we are starting to get organised for the Christmas break so we have gone through our lost property box. Please let us know if any of these items belong to you or your dog, some are already labelled. If youd like to collect your items please get in touch to pick them up during kennel hours (9-11 am and 5:30 pm). Anything that isnt collected in 2 weeks will be donated to an animal shelter. Thank you

08.01.2022 Did someone say leftovers? When we make treats we make enough to last our pooches a couple days so today they are enjoying our stuffed toilet rolls treats again! Not that they are complaining

06.01.2022 Hello! Tomorrows weather forecast predicts rain all day this makes socialising puppies a bit more difficult. Unfortunately, we have therefore cancelled tomorrow mornings session (28th May), and have moved it to this upcoming Monday (1st June) 9 am to 12 pm instead. If you are unable to attend on Monday, we can offer a refund. Please feel free to contact me via email, [email protected], with any questions or concerns. These are a great way to enrich our dogs as getting into these involves licking, chewing and shredding - all great ways of relieving any stress!
