02.01.2022 Queensland will introduce Stage 3 of COVID-19 Restrictions, from midday, Friday, July 3. Attached, is one excerpt from the advisory email just received tonight. This has been a difficult journey for all of us, not least those of us trying to operate previously dine-in restaurants. We then had to transition to takeaway only - for Nobunaga, this was a huge task which involved almost totally revamping our menu.... During this time, all the original staff left, either to farm work, or back home. Anyway, from this Friday, things change again.

01.01.2022 It was a sad day for both me, personally, and for Nobunaga, when our good friend, and Nobunaga Restaurant, farewelled Brisbane Japanese Consulates, Daisuke Miyake. Daisuke san loved Nobunaga, and was a regular visitor here, frequently introducing many new guests, from Brisbane, overseas, and The Consulate. His favourites included Goya Champuru, and Yamachan (Nagoya) style chicken wings.... Daisuke san very much enjoyed working, living, and eating, in Brisbane, and due to the New Corona Virus, had his commission with the Japanese Consulate, extended by several months (he was NOT unhappy about that). A true gentleman, always, with an infectious laugh, friendly, outgoing personality, and just an all round good guy, its sad to have to say, Sayonara, Daisuke san...you WILL be missed. A lot!!
