23.01.2022 I spent a lovely morning in this spot, swimming with my granddaughter. As soon as we arrived home, I began the painting. It's still one of my favourite places to visit.
20.01.2022 The great group at my last workshop.
17.01.2022 This is my latest painting. After listening to a poem by John Shaw Neilsen about his neighbour the Crane (which is really the White-faced Blue-winged Heron) in the 'Mallee' in South East Australia, I wanted to do a painting of these beautiful birds. Because of their subtle blue-grey colour I decided to set them in an early morning misty atmosphere so that their colour was not dominated by the strong colours of the midday sun. The gum trees in the background are the typical 'Mallee' Gums.
14.01.2022 The inspiration for this painting is the spectacular Pandanas trees in the Coolum beach area.

06.01.2022 A recent painting, and one of my current favourites. It reminds me of walking through late afternoon bushland in the hinterland where I live.
