07.02.2022 Who wants lamb? Lamb-in-a-Box delivery is scheduled for Friday August 10. Tasty Dorper Lamb, raised ethically in the Central Highlands in free range paddocks. These lambs are being finished on a crop of fresh winter oats. Lambs average 20-25kg, $12.50 per kilo, remember that you purchase the entire lamb, cut up, bagged and ready to be packed into your freezer.... A $100 deposit is required to secure your box. First in best dressed, so if you don't pay your deposit, someone else might just beat you to it as numbers are limited. The balance owing to be paid on pick up. Pick will be on Friday, 10 August 3:00 - 5:30pm or Saturday 7:00 - 9:00am. Please check that you can pick up on either of these dates. We will also be making some of our delicious lamb, rosemary and mint sausages again. We're not sure yet of how many kgs we will have but if you would like to express an interest in some, please let me know. $12.00/kg Comment here or pm me to put your name on a box.

18.01.2022 Our youngest daughter is our resident poddy lamb carer. She feeds them, socialises them and when they are ready, finds homes for them. Recently she took 3 of them (Judy, Frankie and Pablo) to the Sunshine Coast where they have become part of a Chinese tourist farm. Just this week she said goodby to Bibs who is now with his new family at Comet. These loyal pets are wonderful lawn mowers. The second photo is of Fergus. He was our first orphan lamb and is still part of the family. While mostly living with the herd, he regularly visits, always looks for a scratch, and if he had a choice, would live on our verandah.

07.01.2022 We are almost ready to sell our paddock to plate boxed lamb. Ethically raised in paddocks in Central Queensland, dorper lamb has a beautiful flavour and super eating quality. ... Our lamb will be delivered, boxed, to Emerald. It will be cut into Legs whole or half, Bone in Cutlets Loin Chops Ribs Shoulder chops Shanks Neck Chops Our opening special will be $12.50 p/kg. Each box will weigh approximately 20-23kg. Numbers are limited so please let us know if you would like to place an order. Just finalising details but once we have numbers, delivery will take place in approximately 2 weeks. Please comment below or send a pm to secure a box. We will be taking deposits before delivery and then final payment on pick up of the lamb.
