19.01.2022 Off to a show at a community school in Civano, Tucson, complete with some ‘friends’ I brought with me. Kids reacted really well..same the world over . Included some music which always goes down well. In Park City and going to be pretty snowbound, but hope I can find another audience.

11.01.2022 World Premier of ‘Nonnas Bush Friends’, presented on my Kamishibai in the bush at Umbi Gumbi. Audience of mostly grown ups (the kids were busy with their support roles as puppeteers and playing Uke) loved the story and joined in the act.

08.01.2022 Very happy to be reunited with my travel Kamishibai. It arrived back home a few weeks after me, after the long trip across the Pacific, a little battered and sporting some customs stickers, but in good shape...better than me! We had fun in the United States and performed 6 shows in the desert of Arizona and the snow country of Utah. Noisy Nonna in the Kitchen was very popular. But everyone loved meeting some Aussie animals and birds in Kangaroo in the Vege Patch (thanks Jackie). My bagful of bush puppets was lots of fun, and playing some bush tunes on uke. Looking forward to staying put for a while and developing some new story ideas. Giving up flying for pedal power and ’popping up’ here and there around the beautiful township of Bermagui.

07.01.2022 A Bush Launch for Nonnas brand new Kamishibai. The Occassion was my twin granddaughters birthday and the photographic show covered their lives from nought to nine. Great fun and well received. Not quite traditional Kamishibai story telling. On my way now.

05.01.2022 Travelling with Noisy Nonna and a couple of other stories, and my portable Kamishibai. Never know where I might be able to gather a few kids for a story or two.
