24.01.2022 Flea (Adrian) Nolan is back for a third time to raise money for Movember. He is growing his little bit of hair he can grow and a moustache for the month of November. This year he has decided to make it a team event and recruited some staff and friends to help. You can donate to him directly or any of the team members with the link below. We will be holding a BBQ at the end of the month to check out the growth and raise some further funds for this important cause. For the month of Movember will have many fundraising initiatives happening. Such as multi draw raffle and hundreds board. If you are in and around depot 1 call in and see Flea or Kimberley and they can help you out with tickets. We are still looking for donations for the raffle as well if anyone would like to help out in that way.

24.01.2022 Tasmania, NT, South Australia and Western Australia have now closed their borders. Road freight transport is exempt from the restrictions. Tasmania published it...s detailed rules on Friday 20 March. The other states are yet to publish their rules. ATA member associations in each state are working with governments to make the rules are workable. NSW and Victoria have announced that non-essential businesses will be required to close over the next 48 hours. In both states, freight and logistics will be considered essential. Trucking will not shut down, because our job is to keep up the flow of essential food, groceries, medical supplies and chemicals as the pandemic worsens.

18.01.2022 Whilst we are all facing uncertain times, one thing that we know at Nolans is that transport services are considered essential services. They are shutting the boarders but freight movements will be exempt from this. We have just come through one of the worst droughts in history, where our local fleet was affected. We know the drought hasnt broken yet but is good to see many of the farmers in the Valley starting to do some planting. Our Interstate fleet is now in unprecede...nted demand to move freight to all states. We are doing all that we can to ensure that we are moving as much freight as is physically possible on a daily basis, to "Feed The Nation". We are travelling empty from QLD in some cases to ensure we can move the freight from the southern states into QLD. Most of this freight is destined to our supermarkets. The Nolan family would like to thank all of our hard working staff, in particular the Interstate drivers but also the behind the scenes staff such as operations, manifesting, administration, mechanical, forklift and IT staff. Everyone of these staff members is going above and beyond during these very busy times, we would like you to know that we appreciate it. We know that you would like to be home reassuring your families that all is ok and that isnt possible at this moment. Travel safely and take care. WITHOUT TRUCKS AUSTRALIA STOPS

16.01.2022 Volvo Trucks Australia and Nolan's Celebrate an amazing milestone. The Nolan's team was proud to celebrate at the unveiling of Volvo's 50,000th Truck (Proudly Australian Made). And to make this major milestone even more amazing, have a look at our new beauty called "50000TH" some sweet looking "Hand Painted" history on the sides. A major deal for our staff and a major deal for our long association with Volvo Australia. Wait until you see the new Van to go with this beauty ...!!!!! 13.01.2022 OK, well this company has exhausted 3 plus weeks searching the nation for hand sanitiser for our drivers on the front line and wipes for their use, this saga is continuing. We have spoken to any official that will listen and any large supermarket chain that we deal with for assistance, so far there has been nothing forthcoming. If anyone has any ideas of how we might be able to supply large volumes of personal sanitiser and wipes then we are all ears, because clearly what we are doing its not working. What are we chasing - Min 50ml/100ml Hand Sanitiser & packs of Alcohol wipes. Looking at QTY of 200 of each. THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE MUCH APPRECIATED !!!

12.01.2022 Learn & Grow Expo - Gatton This event was organized by OLGC primary school in Gatton and the event was attended by some 350, grade 5 and 6 children from various schools in the local area including 3 primary schools from Brisbane and is earmarked to be a future event in the community. The purpose of the expo is to promote the region and what future career opportunities.... A huge thank you to our staff for participating - Great event.

05.01.2022 As of this afternoon, Nolan's have commenced moving across to our new Brisbane Depot which is Located at: 375 - 379 Sherbrooke Road, Willawong Qld 4110 All all numbers will be diverted, we kindly ask for your patience whilst we make this move as quickly as possible. More photos will be posted later to give everyone a good look around.
