06.02.2022 If you haven't seen the news yet, tonights session is of course cancelled due to lockdown starting at 8pm. Look after yourself, this is hard. I support the lockdowns, but I think a good cry is in order, and then I can get back to finding the joy, despite all the limitations on our lives at the moment. I hope you can too. 22.01.2022 Here is the link for tonight! Hurstbridge NLNL is providing the tunes for the East Coast of Australia tonight and I'd love you to join me. The meeting is set up so that when you join the session your video is automatically off and you will be muted. You can leave it that way, or you can flick your video on and give me a brief wave! After the last song I will un-mute you all for a few minutes, so you can tell me how wonderful the playlist was or just cheer and clap... So ju...st be aware that you can be heard at that point and you can always mute yourself again or leave the meeting. Another tip is that if you don't want your full name displayed on Zoom, just right click on your name and you can edit it to something else. 19.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION Im sure you know what Im about to say... the cancellations are coming in thick and fast arent they! In an effort to help flatten the curve of the COVID - 19 outbreak, NLNL Hurstbridge will be taking a break until further notice. ... Im going to miss NLNL at this time when we need it most, but believe it is the best decision to make at this point in time. That first dance back, when this is all over will be amazing! NLNL venues are gradually making their plans to return. However at this stage I do not have a return date for NLNL Hurstbridge, and it is possible that we won't be resuming until 2021. We are permitted to run a session and dance without masks, but I'm personally not comfortable with it at this point in time, (especially as some of the exposure sites are sort of on our side of town).... 08.01.2022 It was sooo good to see some of your faces. Tonight was the first night we actually turned the lights right off at home and it almost felt like the real thing. If you didn't join in I hope you can find some time to enjoy the playlist at home. It all happens again next week - every Monday and Thursday 7.30-8pm. 08.01.2022 Hi everyone, I'm sure your news feeds and emails are inundated with updates as to which of your activities are now running, and which ones aren't! I need another week to get back in the swing of things after homeschooling and lockdown and to feel confident that cases remain on the decline. Given that we can exercise without masks, I want to make sure that we are all as safe as possible. I'm sorry that I am more hesitant than some to get back running. I intend to run NLNL Hur...stbridge forever, and I am really missing it being a regular part of my week! So please don't give up on NLNL Hurstbridge, we will be dancing long into the future... and hopefully COVID and lockdowns will be a distant memory!!

04.01.2022 Today marks one year since our first NLNL Hurstbridge session! Is it our one year anniversary? I'm not sure how to measure it now, given that we haven't been able to run as normal for the past couple of months! I'm sure we would have had a great celebration in person, but for now I am sharing the first NLNL playlist for you to re-live and enjoy at home.... Thanks to all of those who have enthusiastically supported NLNL Hurstbridge in its first year. Your smiles, enthusiasm, positive feedback and song requests have meant so much to me. 29.12.2021 Sorry for the late notice. Given that today Melbourne has found itself in the same situation, with a sudden increase in numbers and lots of new exposure sites, I have decided to postpone our NLNL sessions until further notice. I find the mask guidelines confusing... mandatory masks on entertainment venue dancefloors... but optional if out of breath exercising. And I'm personally not comfortable indoors without masks when it's not yet clear how far this latest outbreak has spr...ead. I will be contacting regular attendees to make sure you know... but please like this post so that I know you have seen it... and to help others see it too. Sorry
